Well, in big corporates they have to sacrifice some stuff to follow protocol even if it hurts a little bit ( this off season fiesta )
we all know that ESL, blast what ever dont want to run 3rd party events while being choked by riot, while those random 3rd party org probably agreed to, thats why we have them doing it
- for all riot care VALORANT esport didnt even start
and you can tell how much they will invest that they invited 30 teams for a month just for a kick off tournament

nah i mean Valve should have contracted ONE entity to organize it if they werent going to do it themselves, its too complicated in its current form

They put on a bunch of international events on their own during a global pandemic, did a decent job, and built a solid fanbase so idk if that's totally accurate BUT yes I agree that their vision was almost always what we're about to get post Kick-Off, a slightly tweaked LCS format to cater to established FPS tournament structures.

Yeah theyre gonna put everything they can into this because if it failed (it wont, but if) they wasted how many development years plus the last 2 years of VCT which Im sure have not hit the endgoal numbers that they're looking for
