i cannot believe them re-releasing overwatch as overwatch 2 with little changes actually revived the game. dunno how long it will hold though, i guess making the game free also have a big impact on the player base

For 2 years they didn't release any hereos.
Ow2 is like a huge qol update . Reworked alot of heroes kits. New game modes , tons of new maps.
