i think emea>>americas>>>>>>>>>apac
tl ,fnc and navi will clear all na and apac team.
Emea will won 1 master 1 Champion and the kick off easily next year, and they will always take three of the final four spots.

NA has more depth and had you asked me 3 weeks ago I would've said NA.
But,
To me it looks like all the NA teams have made minor mistakes keeping them away from having the perfect roster. SEN keeping tenz, NRG keeping s0m, EG, KRU fumbling, mibr too. 100T, C9 and Lev are the only teams not making mistakes.
A perfect comparison would be these three teams VS fanatic, NaVi, liquid. And to me it seems that the latter three are way too stacked, over upgraded.
Emea's top 4 look incredibly stacked(tl,Navi, fnc, koi). U can maybe not consider koi but the rest all look like trophy contenders. But overall the region lacks depth. I have these teams and then u have teams Iike fut and kc. Americas has sen,nrg,c9,100t,loud,lev,fur as strong teams. Apac has only drx, prx, zeta that are well established. So I'd say emea's top 3(4?)>Americas>apac=rest of emea

In Americas you have MIBR and EG. In APAC you have DNG, RRQ, GenG. In all the regions there are bad teams.

mibr and eg are the only weak teams in americas. u can maybe make an argument for kru but thats it. and thats why i put rest of emea as equal to apac
moatz [#13]I'd say any region other than emea
Emea's already peaked in its first yr
they still won copenhagen and had all their teams in playoffs for champions this year unlike other regions lol. and they still had a top 4 finish there even though this champs was considered their worst tournament since beginning of valo

Their worst tourney was the first Iceland
They got farmed by SEN
Didn't take a single map from them
EMEA in my opinion. In my honest opinion NA and SA are bit overrated rn. They had huge advantage going into Champions because as a region they had better read on Pearl and that's why got huge advantage in map pool. While EMEA teams fucked up with their map pools because they didn't expect to be shit on Pearl. Like every EMEA team had like 2 or 3 shit maps and they got exposed hard. Like look at FPX. They perma banned Haven while being really shit on Breeze and pretty shit on Pearl. That's free 2 maps for most teams facing them. This shouldn't be a problem for next year tho. Now teams know better how you should play Pearl so they can work on it while they can prepare better map pools.

idk i feel like your basically saying that emea can't adapt fast enough. also the fact that two emea teams were eliminated by drx, who didn't even play pearl at the event, doesn't help your pearl/map disadvantage claim.

EMEA had the same chance as NA, SA and APAC to be good on Pearl. 100T had less time to prep for Pearl and beat FNC (who had WAY more time to prep). Just seems like EMEA needs other regions to set the meta so that they can spend hours VOD reviewing and anti-stratting

I think Champions was learning moment for EMEA teams when it comes to map pools. Also whole Pearl thing isn't as much about adapting. No one knows what the "real" read is before international games. They might have been confident in it because it worked in EMEA, but then other regions just had reads that worked better. We saw EMEA teams getting better at Pearl, but they didn't have enough time.
Also about DRX is that they are actually good team and were on good form. Fnatic was kind of shitting the bed whole tournament anyway and DRX was better and FPX played Haven with Viper comp that looked so lack luster on attack and likely reason why they perma banned it. Like DRX was really good in Champions. I'm more talking about NA especially teams like XSET and 100T. I don't think they are as proven yet as some people make it seem. Like I truly believe if Pearl didn't exist these teams wouldn't have done as well. But its just my opinion and I could be wrong. We will see next year.

Doesn't matter how much time these teams had. Different regions are just going to have different read on new maps and are going to play around it. Rumors for example said that Team Liquid was doing really well on it in scrims, but see how they got fucked by PRX. Why? Maybe because their game plan worked against EMEA teams and that is why they played it like they did. Its not coincidence why for example all 3 NA teams were doing well on Pearl why all 3 EMEA teams did shit on it. Their style of play in scrims etc was just better. Its like guessing game when no one knows how other regions play it. When next new map is going to be released it could be the exact opposite. Like see how Fnatic were dominating Fracture when it came out.

True but especially for emea
SEN 2-0 Fnatic
Rematch in the finals: SEN 3-0 Fnatic
