Does C9W try to win outside of GC

Im starting to wonder whether c9w hold back in tournaments outside of GC because they don't want to waste strats and have more footage of them online.
If so it seems to be working. Their current roster probably could win ascension next year if they decide to join, since most of the players want to play in franchising and outside of GC as well.

I don’t think they can win franchising. Keep in mind that teams like the guard, faze, and tsm are still in ascension and technically tier 1 teams.

no, that makes no sense, doubt they would just throw in main tourneys, making it into challengers would be a huge deal from open quals, they've been p close to making it to the main event losing in a ro16 and multiple ro32's, think they could potentially break through in some capacity next year in ascension tho hopefully :D

they won't win ascension, especially with all the talent not getting into franchising there are going to be some insanely talented ascension rosters fighting for that spot.

they literally breeze through GC. they could prolly just play 5 duelists and win the tournament. they are def not holding back anything in VCT to save for GC. If anything its the opposite. but their roster isnt even close to winning ascension lmao.

They probably wouldn't even win a T3 ascension if you look at their results in VCT/Knights
