If you like OW1, you will like OW2,.OW is less try hard than Val, more casual imo

Wasn't OW1 really unplayable because they couldn't balance the game? So if it follows in the same path will it live long enough?
bad game balancing is just small issue , biggest issue is they didn't create new contents (new heroes, maps) in 2 or 3 years I think OW2 will do fine, maybe not make the game suddenly widely popular again (like first year of OW1) but will keep franchise healthy in many more years
Val is pretty casual game though. Huge casual player base. Higher up in the ranks yeah different story but yeah.

Wont deny that. I remember playing Overwatch when it first came out. Was quite fun. It still is fun especially with friends but it’s a lot like siege in competitive. You need to have a coordinated team.
I think it's unlikely that pros who haven't already played in OWL would move back. Plus the OW competitive ecosystem is known for being kinda shitty, T2 has barely been supported for the past 1-2 years, making it much more of a sacrifice to try and make OWL
I'm interested in seeing how it will affect Valorant's popularity in SK. Most of the pros still refused to switch to valorant there and wants to stick to ow
Valorant has never really been popular in South Korea to begin with. Overwatch has always been huge there and of course will league as well.
I think the game will pop off because it’s free. Everyone loves a free game nowadays.
