Mine: People hate Shahzam because the internet (VLR) told them to.
i dont think he has an ego but his mentality abt competing is not great. He values streaming more than competing. I dont blame him he makes his money by streaming.
But thats not a great mentality for competing especially when the team is evidently doing poorly. He needs to prioritize competing over streaming if he wants to play in franchising thats all. doesnt mean he has to quit streaming, just have a balance.
in hindsight. bro dont be objective abt it. think if u were on the best team in the world coming off a hot win streak and you just lost ur first event. would you just suddenly stop believing in urself? no and also you wanna keep the fans motivated too. that was not a good example of him having ego. just drop it.
i doubt most teams practice more than 8 hrs on average
how do you know they practiced the least in stage 1? stage 2 is understandable cause they had to sub rawkus for like 3-4 matches and dani for one. their performance in LCQ with shroud severely underperforming and only 2-3 weeks together showed that they have a lot of potential, so where's the problem here? shahz's calling and the strategic side of their gameplay was just fine in LCQ. strategy could've been refined a bit more but they overperformed considering they had 2-3 weeks and a guy who went -20 for like 2 different series after not playing pro in 5+ years. idk why people have this hate boner for shahz and "streaming"
did you really take what FNS and s0m said on tarik's stream seriously lol + if im being honest the problem for SEN is stage 1 was being way behind the meta. sick was not playing a supportive enough kay/o like xeppaa and zellsis were. tenz was not in form and dapr's whole agent pool got deleted by the addition of chamber. their problem was never "not enough practice". they just did not wanna make their practice useful by changing things up (moving tenz to chamber earlier, having dapr explore other supportive roles, and a coach helping sick adapt to a more selfless style of gameplay with kay/o, skye, and whatever else) iirc they also did not have a coach for stage 1 im pretty sure. When they adapted to the meta (LCQ), they showed that they're still worth mentioning with the top of NA. imo the only change SEN might wanna make is get a new head coach since mce, chet, and other T1 coaches are currently available. they don't need to get rid of rawkus but someone else has to be the head coach as i believe other coaches might have better strategic insight (i could be completely wrong im not in their team obviously)
Fns said we probably practice the most in NA but he also said i know who practices the least as well but im not gonna say it and then som started laughing but tarik understood they were talking about sentinels and asked them, they said yes so they werent joking. Shahz himself said we couldn't have enough prac for stage 1 and 2 because one of our members having personal issues, so idk what are you trying to prove by they actually practiced but not the right way. But still they prac less than other teams, and it is probably why they got thrashed in stage 2.
i literally said they had their own issues w subs and so on
how would they practice properly like that lol? even if they did practice, they would've gotten nowhere if they didnt make the changes. kanpeki was never good enough in terms of raw fragging power for a flex player in NA either. it was arguably the weakest roster they had ever played with (missing sick and having kanpeki & rawkus). even if they had their full roster i doubt they would've done well with dapr on chamber and tenz on jett lol
