They never intended to be a Thai representative. Riot forced them to be since they have an AoV team in my country.
it doesn't really matter what they wanted . They are th representative is what matters now and TH also has a large pool of good players to pick from so in the end it makes them a profit

Funny decision from Riot to give slots to 3 orgs, all of whom have / had PH rosters till now
They fucked over not only Oceania, but Indonesia and Thailand as well
And it would be alright if PH was doing the best among SEA in Valorant. But they're literally worse than both ID and TH, which makes it crazier

Talon is HK based org but TH gamers familiar with them since OW day (patiphan and some Thai players were playing for talon.OW).
They even have office and invested in many e-sport in TH.
they got Thai takken player and team for mobile game.
their dota squad house was in BKK before moved to PH last year.
Hornesly if there wasn't have TH representative in league.
Talon would be the team that have highest chance to pick Thai player anyway among those teams in apac league.
So I don't mind about mixed roster that much.
FS and MITH our best chance not qualified that mean talon is the best we got.
