You know franchising is about orgs and not the roster right?
dongrumble [#2]Tbh No
Edit - I'm talking about as an org... not the team
Why? They're rich and already have infrastructure . Also have the support of Indians which have high viewership
rival [#9]Only if could understand what franchising actually means
Exactly, riot wants to do it to make sure about the viewers and all, not about how much deserving a team is, this is the sad reality
SuzyVLR [#8]based on VCT 2022 result i said NO
Okay so may i know why GenG and T1 made into franchising and Optic and fpx didn't?
wizardbot [#11]Why? They're rich and already have infrastructure . Also have the support of Indians which have high viewership
Being rich is different than being profitable plus crypto shit + not established like other orgs in franchise(other games brand deals etc)
wizardbot [#11]Why? They're rich and already have infrastructure . Also have the support of Indians which have high viewership
Only thing going for them is the viewership they'll bring in....
I just hope it doesn't fall if GE goes with a not fully SA roster

BOYCOTT THIS GUYS, HATERS INDIA
dongrumble [#14]Being rich is different than being profitable plus crypto shit + not established like other orgs in franchise(other games brand deals etc)
Crypto is the pet project of their owner it has nothing to with their org lol. They don't have any crypto sponsers. They have brand deals what are you on about? You aren't Indian and it seems like all you know about them is reading stupid bits from vlr which are untrue. Also they're established in the esports that matter in India, how would they be established in esprts like lol or cs if it doesnt even have any scene here. They also have had teams in every t1 esports before when they were relevant here, had a korean roster for owl and fortnite iirc
no- but they are putting in the efforts and their participation in this is crucial for the region itself since so much effort has been put into this game from them and without chances they will just break apart- rito will only not give a slot to GE or to any other team of SA if they simply don't care about the existence of minor regions like ours. This franchise system is damaging and forcing minor rosters to shut down due to them not being selected for this and I think that at least handful of teams of each region/subregion should have a chance

What other esport was GE t1 in?
dongrumble [#22]good brand deals not rooter or some shit
And why is rooter a bad deal? They also have other sponsors but im curious whats your basis on calling them shit lmfao. They are putting a lot of money in India, how is their streaming service being shit make them bad sponsors?
dongrumble [#25]GE in cs was t1????? Lmfao
I said they had teams in t1 esports, not that their teams were t1. Read again

brand has a value that it comes with.... it's a fucking brand
Just pouring in money won't make it a good brand deal
wizardbot [#27]I said they had teams in t1 esports, not that their teams were t1. Read again
By that logic every other sea org deserves the slot more than ge
dongrumble [#28]brand has a value that it comes with.... it's a fucking brand
Just pouring in money won't make it a good brand deal
Then ftx is a shit deal for tsm evwn though it gave them 210M fucking dollars and was lauded as landmark deal in esports
dongrumble [#29]By that logic every other sea org deserves the slot more than ge
none of them are from a region with highest viewership and no slots? they also don't have any infrastructure in kr. you have 0 clue about what youre talking about from the start, im just gonna stop responding
dongrumble [#29]By that logic every other sea org deserves the slot more than ge
brother go make your case to riot. they are the one's deciding it.
dongrumble [#29]By that logic every other sea org deserves the slot more than ge

It will help esports in india
dongrumble [#16]Only thing going for them is the viewership they'll bring in....

bro stop wasting your time man we good if they get slot. Dont waste yo time explainig shit to some vlr user
bruddah [#32]brother go make your case to riot. they are the one's deciding it.
I'm not saying that don't give it to GE
SA needs a slot
But on the other hand it's not that good of an org... but it's probably the only good enough from SA so nbd
wizardbot [#30]Then ftx is a shit deal for tsm evwn though it gave them 210M fucking dollars and was lauded as landmark deal in esports
Did rooter give them 210m ?
Zeon_pd [#35]Also have bootcamp in Korea
All teams probably will have to get a makeshift bootcamp at some point as seoul is where the matches will be played so
dongrumble [#22]good brand deals not rooter or some shit
FYI rooter isnt their sponsor
Their sponsors are Twitch,ZOTAC/RTX,one gaming chair company I idk its name and they have their own production studio
dongrumble [#22]good brand deals not rooter or some shit
rooter was there sponsor not anymore its twitch now
Olofboost [#6]No
An organization which never changes its roster for better players, keeps 30 yo washed boomers who must've retired long time ago, doesn't belong in franchise
they hold on to that roster made an indian team dominated the entire SA region for 1.5 years without even a single change. This is a miracle done by global esports. Even though other teams had better aimers judging by there performance in the past from CSGO and then valorant
dongrumble [#2]Tbh No
Edit - I'm talking about as an org... not the team
It's the exact opposite of it
As an team he'll no as an org maybe yes
toofan1 [#43]It's the exact opposite of it

More like
As an org - No
As a team - Never
