8 EU
5 NA
3 BR
2 LATAM
1 CIS
1 TR
These numbers seem fair to me.
I don't know about APAC
Subreezy [#2]8 EU just sounds disgustingly unfair, i hope there's at least 1 MENA team
Styling... is that u?
jokes aside they will only be able to try their luck for promotion (I don't know if they can try but probably MENA can just come from there)

it is unfair, but unfortunately there aren't many (if any) MENA teams that are big enough (financially or otherwise) that would probably make this first round. I can't name any off the top of my head and most other people probably can't either :/
i do hope the region could get a team together that could compete for a spot when franchising expands, some MENA rep would be good to see

EU teams are mixed a lot of the teimes (like Acend, FPX etc)

Not really, it’s just the org name, all good CIS players are gonna be picked up unlike in America where all good SA players wouldn’t be picked up by NA orgs.
Also not even NaVi wants Russians. And just fyi there is not gonna be any MENA team, Team Falcons was discarded a while ago

unfortunate i guess, i just hope MENA players aren't forgotten and aren't considered (assuming there isn't a language barrier)to potentially be in an EMEA team
