I'd rather take a title than two finals, and their m2 performance was eh. They def surpass them if they win though which is looking likely anyways so let's see

LOUD has at least 2 top 2, and one of them on champions. imo they had a better year than fpx even if they lose on the GF

OpTic (1st/3rd/3rd+)

2nd would be LOUD if they win no question. An argument can be made for FPX if they don't. I think 4th goes to DRX if they make Finals, otherwise PRX.

PRX got 9-12th place at Champs. They never made it out of groups this year, because they were automatically seeded to playoffs. Meanwhile DRX consistently made it out of groups every masters and lost to finalists in the playoffs, finishing 5-6th. AND at Champs they're guaranteed top 3. There's no argument to be made.

If Loud wins, they're number 1. Cool Optic won masters 1, but if Loud wins Champs there's no argument to put Loud under Optic.

That's assuming we equalize Masters and Champions result, which is also faulty.

Maybe there's an argument for Optic over Loud even if Loud wins, but I don't agree. As for PRX over DRX, you have to be delusional to think that way.

its not even equalising it, its just treating the difference between 1st at masters and 1st at champs as smaller than the difference between dead last at masters and 3rd at champs.

being the champion of a masters where FPX (probably the best team atm) didn't play or fnc didn't play with full squad isn't much to talk about.this champions is way bigger than masters 1 this year. more teams + more preparations + more competition. if Loud wins this Loud is 100% better than Optic this year overall.

if optic gets 2nd or they get 3rd and Loud get 2nd, no question, OpTic are no. 1. If they lose tomorrow and Loud win champs, it will depend on how dominant Loud in their victory (3-0).

The reason why Optic should be number 1 and not loud is not only is optic so consistent but in their h2h Optic are 3-2 if they place 3th

I mean if you add up the finishes you get:

OPTIC (1 + 3 + 3* = 7)
FPX (8 + 1 + 4 = 13)
DRX (6 + 6 + 3* = 15)
LOUD (2 + 12 + 2* = 16)
PRX (4 + 2 + 12 = 18)

There weren't even 16 teams in Masters 2. They finished 11th-12th along with Xerxia.

2nd M1 > 4th M1
11th-12th M2 < 2nd M2
2nd* Champs > 9th-12th Champs

Based list, tho tbf sometimes teams just get unlucky with who they face in these tournaments so the end result doesn't always reflect how good some teams are. Optic is by far just better then the rest of the teams this year in consistency, it's not even close. I don't think anyone can dispute that Yay isn't the MVP of this whole year, his stats on LAN are actually crazy.

L list, DRX 100% better than prx.
Reasons:

Add up the finishes.
DRX (6 + 6 + 3* = 15)
PRX (4 + 2 + 12 = 18)
Drx overall placed higher.
Prx never won against drx. (2-0)
Prx actually said drx is their toughest enemy and they have lost a lot of scrims against them ( you can ignore this if u don't give a shit in scrims )

IF drx wins against optic, there is no doubt drx WILL place higher than prx, and eventhough they don't, it doesn't change the fact that drx is a better team than prx.

if u use that logic, drx placed 5th~6th as well, and eventhough prx placed 9th, the overall placement is higher + drx.

Also placing higher in champs is harder than masters because champs is 16 teams, while masters is only 12.

Loud got unlucky in copenhagen

It was meant for them to go directly into playoffs, but instead they put them in the groups, with optic and kru (br nemesis)

And even with that, they ALMOST eliminated Optic on groups there, 12-14 final map

They were always a top 3 team in my opinion, i mean TWO finals, not even Optic did that(for now)
