People seem to be very harsh towards the crowd but i don't think they fully understand everything.
1) We never not clapped for anyone when they showed up on stage, we never disrespected any player or team. Its just that our sound didn't go through to the stream when we only clapped(for example, people seem to think there was no reaction for ayrin, but i was surprised/saddened to hear that as we DID clap for him, like we did for everyone) It seems our voice can only be heard when we scream, and even then it is not at the level it actually is(in terms of how loud the atmoshpere actually is)
2) The fact that we only CLAPPED for xset players and then screamed until our voices were gone for alfajer shouldn't mean we disrespected xset. The situation of FNATIC is special for this crowd, and NA people really should be understanding of the cheering amount difference between these two teams. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE CLAPPED AND CHERED FOR XSET WHEN THEY SHOWED UP ON STAGE, JUST NOT AS MUCH AS WE DID FOR ALFAJER, AND EU STREAM SEEMS TO HAVE DIFFICULTIES CAPTURING OUR SOUND.
3)We are not EU, we are TR. Yes we are biased towards the likes of scream and boaster compared to ayrin or zekken, but that should be expected? Im sorry but most people in TR region don't know who some of the NA players are(i do but many don't). And yet like i said, no one disrespected them, booed at them(EXCEPT xset coach) and clapped for them when they won a good round or when they showed up on stage. I am only telling this to further explain why the cheering levels were different, but again NO ONE WAS NOT CHEERED FOR IN THIS EVENT.
4)WE ONLY BOOED THE XSET COACH, AND THAT WAS WHEN HE SAID WHY SO QUIET AND SHUSHED US. WE DIDN'T BOO AT ANY XSET PLAYER(personally i admire bcj, watched his documentary) AND WE DIDNT BOO AT XSET COACH BECAUSE THEY WERE NA AND WE WERE EMEA. MOST PEOPLE IN TR DON'T GIVE A FK ABOUT EU VS NA. The coach disrespected us first, don't forget that. The only turkish person representing us is playing against you, don't be mad that there is a cheering amount difference between your team and fnatic.
5)We cheered/screamed for both drx and optic when they were playing against emea teams. DRX fans were half the arena. And there was funny banter between liquid and optic fans in the crowd. Liquid fans tried to shush the optic fans by whisteling, so optic fans screamed even louder. Especially on the third map they were quiet hyped up. If you don't believe me, please watch yay's interview after the liquid match.
FNATIC IS A SPECIAL TEAM FOR TR BECAUSE OF ALFAJER, THE WAY ACEND WAS LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF CNED, so when the coach disrespected us(which is in the nature of sports to shush a crowd) we booed at him(which is also in the nature of competitive sports). UNDERSTAND THAT WE AIMED FOR THIS ARENA TO BE A HOME TURF FOR FNATIC/ALFAJER. You may not like this concept as you may want everyone to be happy and cheered for equally, but Turkey and Eastern Europe in general when it comes to sports has a VERY competitive and proud nature. If you feel bad for xset because we only CLAPPED for them while we SCREAMED for fnatic, you should really stay away from football or any kind of sports in this area of the world. It was just unfortunate that one of the less known teams(in TR) were against the team whole TR region supports. If this match was between xset liquid, you can be sure that cheers would be on a higher level for xset.
We showed respect to xset by clapping for them when they won a good round and when they showed up on stage. We NEVER disrespected anyone in this event and we were never quiet for any team.
NOTE: Since we wanted XSET to feel like the away team, their coach has the right to shush us when he wins. I only called it disrespect because people called us disrespectfull. I also feel we have the right to boo at him for this act. For me, these things are part of competitive sports with crowds. I can write right here that xset played much better than fnatic and fully deserved that win. Cryo was insane. We have no issues with any player, we just gave a reaction to the coach's action which was probably his right seeing the difference between cheering amounts.
ADDITION: Just now we screamed for fpx and continued to clap for leviatan players. Some even screamed for lev but as should be expected, not as much as fpx. I don't know how much of it was heard from the stream.
