I've been here since 2020. Ignition, First Strike, whatever. I've seen the lowest of SEA, to the highest of APAC so far. I've watched teams disappear, and saw what would-be beloved teams being formed and grown. This season has ended for APAC. That sucks. I know. But think about what we've been through. We were very talked down upon and nobody expected anything from our region. It wasn't until Champions last year that people saw what SEA had to offer genuinely, and thoroughly. Talents rise and cult personalities are born. That continues until 2022. We were still underestimated but beloved, that was until Reykjavik and Copenhagen, where we show that APAC's potential to the world.
We were short every time, but... I'm grateful that more people love APAC nowadays. Looking back at 2020 or even 2021, we barely have anyone. It was us, the regional fans of SEA/APAC against the world. While it's still somewhat true now, to see APAC having a massive beloved following makes me happy. We're not ignored. We're proud to be APAC.
DRX and their fans, you're not APAC. But you bloody know us. You've gone through the same tribulations and hardships. Kick ass in the playoffs. ZETA and Japan, you were as much as underestimated. Even more so. To see y'all grow well, shit. Makes me pumped.
To fans and enthusiasts alike. Talk shit all you want but, we're gonna still be APAC. We're proud and loud, and fuck yall for talking a lot of shit anyway. We're coming back soon.
