Genuine question, is it possible for me to start competing at a semi-pro/amateur level after this milestone?
I don't want a career as a professional player, just looking for some additional hobby with a competitive nature.

I live in Poland, my other polish friend kamo already developed himself in the tier 2 scene playing for NOM. I don't think I can match him, but looking for something similar

Ask him for advice must be more valuable than the whole Vlr's opinion combined.

He advised me to setup a twitter/youtube to build up a "portfolio" and see how things may turn out.
Kamo has an agent that takes offers for him and the man has insanely high talent to compare with.

Sadly, Boaster owns me.

Find a team and just start playing in every tourney u can play in. Thats what all the pros say u should do.

Thanks! It's kind of hard to find a competitive team. I usually solo queue in ranked and occasionally duo with a pal but don't have any potential contacts.

I think u need to join some discords and just start asking everyone if they are looking for a player for which u fit the discription

I joined the teams.gg discord some time afo but there aren't many players within immortal and in my region looking to recruit, so it was a difficulty. I'll keep on looking, could probably try and get my duo partner signed up as well

I've seen People start making and joining teams after they reach gold. If you are passionate about competing professionally or just want to get the experience then play in the weeklies no matter what your rank is.. However you should understand that rank solely does not mean that you'll be good in pro play, and you will need to change your mindset when try to go pro.

I enjoy the competitive nature and much prefer treating the game with more discipline, I just don't look for an actual career for that. Got ajy advice how I can attend weeklies or find a team willing to take me in?

I think just be on the lookout for announcements on discord servers.. In my region there are numerous discord servers dedicated to val esports and LFT channels.. Or just ask one of your friends for some discord servers

My advice for you is to keep on improving yourself. Wait for the next event. I think you can have a chance next year or after champions because there would be a structure specifically for tier 2 teams.

You really need to find out whether scrims suit you. I've played with a lot of Immortal 3 players whose playstyle really suits ranked but they are just totally clueless in scrims. Rank is really not a great indicator, imo -- I've lost to Ascendant players in scrims and beaten Radiants.
