recency bias isn't as big of a thing as ppl say

people always use recency bias way too much to argue, for example, that a player is being overrated or a team is still one of the best in the world

i agree within reason. people shouldn't disregard current stats/info because somebody was good/bad in the past. however, 1 bad game shouldn't determine whether a team/player is one of the best/worst at the tournament. i firmly believe that if xset beats fpx today, a lot of people would seriously make the claim that fpx is washed even though that couldn't be further from the truth

there's a middle ground between these two extremes that we should be focusing on
