If you have heard of the Sports talk show "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed" or "Stephen A. Smith Show" or "Colin Cowherd" or "NBA on TNT"(Shaq, Ernie, Chuck, Kenny), I have made a show that is inspired by these established talk shows, with the spin of Valorant. For example, I just made a predictions for VCT 2022 group stage (already uploaded check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfS7Esgj0-0&ab_channel=VCTwithAVE) Tomorrow I plan to make my power rankings for the VCT teams. I have a lot of plans for example, a small idea for a video is clutch and troll of the day (like Shaqtin' a fool from NBA on TNT), where after watching every match that took place on that day, if I find like an extremely clutch moment think Masters Copenhagen, PRX Mindfreak, on Ascent, 1v4 clutch against FNATIC, then I will make a segment in my daily coverage video where i show that clutch (if there are multiple, I will show them). I'll cover things like who the best player is after every event, the best team etc...
IK plat chat exists, but not everyone wants to watch a 2 hour long podcast, and for other valorant news sources heres what i think: I was watching VALORANT News - TacticalRab today, I randomly came across his channel when searching for videos covering Valorant Champions 2022 predictions, and what I thought when I was watching him was that their was no aspect that resembled the talk shows i listed earlier, he was just scrolling through twitter. This, to be fair, is its own respectable thing. But, this is not what I want to see, I want to see something like Skip with his outrageous hate for Lebron, and Shannon the voice of reason supporting Lebron. Because no matter how much you are annoyed by Skip's outrageous takes, it is fun to watch, and you will keep watching for that.
In a perfect world, Riot reaches out to me and offers me to host a semi-daily VCT coverage show, where I get a studio, editors to do my transitions animations and editing for me, camera people etc... and I get to choose a co host. My Co-host would obviously have to be TMV, he is a very good teacher of the strategic/theoretic side of Valorant I learned from him, also I took some principles from chess and translated it into Valorant knowledge. As often as we could, we would have guest appearances on the show, specifically players that have big names on big name teams, to increase viewership.
Right now Valorant pro scene is still a baby, looking at viewership, an established sport like Basketball (NBA) gets about 1.4 million viewers on average for a regular season game. A VCT regular season game equivalent is Challengers and the average viewer count for NA challengers stage 2 matches was 94,000 (https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2022-north-america-stage-2-challengers). The 2021 NBA Championship had 14 million viewers, while the Valorant equivalent of Champions 2021 had an average of 470,000 viewers (https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/valorant-champions-2021). So yeah, I plan to make content that may provoke more attention towards the valorant comp/pro scene. Whether you agree, disagree if they are right, wrong, insane or sane, this will bring more viewership to VCT as a whole. If you are interested check out my channel, I just made it today, but already uploaded my first video (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiC8mSk0C2mXTU63hSgd_kw). I'm not going to come out and write all of my ideas here, but....
If you were watching a VCT semi-daily (every day a game occurs, or news comes up) coverage talk show what would you want to see?
