Built By Gamers players have recently taken to twitter to announce that they will not be playing under the BBG banner anymore but will remain as a team.
Built by Gamers entered Valorant in July of 2022 by signing the roster of Code7. Later in 2021, they would enter the tier 2 scene with their academy team consisting of the 303 esports and The silk road. The roster would consist of Rahmin “ShoukR” Shoukoohi, Ludovic “monSi” Lefebvre, Cameron “FireBallOps” Tomaselli, Jonathan “Jonji” Carey and Nabil “khanartist” Khan aswell as coaches Luke “Fray” Edgemon and Michael “MaestroMJ3” Bulostin.
Under the BBG banner, the team would go on to win a multitude of events in the tier two scene aswell as secure top eight placements at multiple events. Some notable events the roster has won are NSG Winter — Open 11, Open15, Knights Circuit Monthly #2 and NSG Summer — Open 10.
A core of three players from the original roster will remain together under their previous banner of The silk road.
