To give space for other teams. I don't think they have to leave. They are probably going to have to requalify.

Cause every year a new team comes in, so someone has to leave. It's kind of an obligated demotion.

But since permanent teams get it for four years Ig the teams that have performed well and already had the experience of working with Riot will have a lot of chances to be swapped with one of the permanents that isn't doing so well
