Well, CS also has their streaming personalities. Like Gaules from Brazil is bigger than the game itself, when he streams there's a minimum 45k viewers for CS, if he streams other game, most of the viewers go with him.

Also the screenshot was from yesterday night, still, even without CS having a tournament, valorant is getting similae numbers. That's a huge achievement.

Well because outside of shroud's or myth's watch parties events don't even get more than 40k viewers. In CS it's almost always above 100k.

CSGO is also a 20+ year old franchise... Literally the same game made 3 times and they've built a strong playerbase in 2 decades. The fact that a game not even a year old is even competing is insane in itself.

lol no. In brazil Gaules is bigger than the game, if he is streaming the game it gets 50k+ views, if hes playing other games he gets 40k+ views. You are stating that Shround and Myth make Valorant numbers increase, but CSGO also has those kind of personalities who watch the game together and adds lots of viewers to the real amount.

Well thats just not true.. Minecraft at 5th place as of Novemeber 2020 and fortnite at 17th place as of may 2020 with a declining playerbase? So i dont get where you're getting your facts from?

No, you can't compare 2 totaly different games like that. You can compare lol and Dota, you can compare Valorant and CS, you can compare fortnite and PUBG, but c'mon man... You can say Fortnite is the biggest battle royale, killed PUBG, lol is the biggest MOBA, killed dota, and we will say that about Valorant vs CS soon.

I think people are forgetting that valorant has been out for only a year and considering it has a small fanbase compared to cs, Obviously cs will get more viewers in tourneys. Wait a little bit and we can see Valorant's true potential.

shroud streaming doesnt matter really since most of the viewers just spam things like "play csgo" "play rust" and stuff... the ranking system tell a lot about a game and valorants doesnt look so well...

How the ranking system tells a lot about the game? I don't get it. CS also has those kinds of personalities streaming, Shroud hit 90k in his stream, he normaly has around 30k, Valorant is bringing him up, not the contrary.

Gaules gets 50k everytime he streams CS at least, and has 40k everytime he streams everyother game, so his numbers should'nt count for CS? 100k less viewers in big brazilian matches.
