the article says these sponsors are outright banning teams participating in violent/shooter games and SK gaming seems to be supporting these sponsors. With that type of attitude its better that sk is not into valorant.

Actually they werent dropped, Immortals Group bought MIBR back then and brought the brazilian lineup. Altho one of the reasons because SK sold its roster could be cuz Mercedes contract
