i never said anything about the first round same region matchups before, its obviously pre-planned seeding that made it turn out this way. just pointing out that these "exciting matches" came with a first round sacrifice

The problem isnt with the way they seeded playoffs, the problem is the fact that unproven teams got a bye into playoffs just because theres more slots for that region

btw what the could do to avoid that would be swiching up the 1st group seeds and 2nd group seeds, wouldn't fuck over anyone and would give us more interregional matchups, but you cant complain about riot sticking with the preplanned seeding matchups
