As I said a few days ago, xerxia was the worst team at this event
OzyMeister [#6]0/8
How can this be a fucking bait, it was either xerxia or nth to be the worst team
yungbasel [#15]not related. But it's crazy how LOUD speedrun Brazil then went 0-2. Competition is really tight this event.
you are making it sound worse than it was.....Loud 0-2 was much much much more respectful than NTH 1-2. The groups and the playoff brackets this masters were borderline scripted. A much much more talented group A and on the playoffs the 3 EMEA teams in the same side of the bracket

Nah, you're just reading it like that. I think LOUD are an insane team, my post isn't to shade them.
I'm pointing out how crazy it is, they went 0-2 with very close games after violating the rest of Brazil.
International competition is crazy.
patuj [#14]Unpopular take, but I would personally rate Xerxia higher than NTH. NTH won over them, but I feel like Xerxia had higher potential to win over more teams or make the games closer.
agree. i think xia were more likely to win against fpx today instead of nth

Its not really just international competition
Their group had:
If they were in B they wouldnt have qualified first
If they seeded right to playoffs they'd make top 4

Yeah I feel like that as well. That's why I was so relieved when NTH won yesterday. Felt like FPX had higher chance to beat them.

Yes. Nth have like 0 international experience and tbh they did not look like the better team even when they beat XIA, but Meteor is different. And Blackwiz was feeling it on map 3
OkOkay [#8]well technically someone at the playoffs could be the worst team, so u cant say that yet. Maybe xset chokes and get 13-0 2 times (unlikely tho)
ok Leviatan I can see to get destroyed (not 13-0 i dont think any team at masters will get 13-0ed) but xset will not get 13-0ed
babysasuke [#20]Its not really just international competition
Their group had:
- The best team in the world (Optic)
- The luckiest team in the World (Guild)
- And a team of cracked players that refuse to lose (KRU)
If they were in B they wouldnt have qualified first
If they seeded right to playoffs they'd make top 4
You just described difficult international competition. 3 teams that are better than everyone else from their region.
Saying if they were in Group B they'd have qualed is cap. You do not know this. I bet you predded GUILD to lose to Optic. Stop being so certain about valo predictions.
This is not a point that needs to be debated my boy.

Its not a close international competition, its a stacked group
the 4 best teams in groups are in a group that only 2 can get out of
2 go on, then 2 from the other group with the WORSE teams move on
2 better teams go home, 2 L teams move on to playoffs
Not a close international competition, they got fucked over by the group seeding
Edit: DRX is on par with the Group A teams, matches against them could have gone either way
