Why most of you guys are hyper fixated in calling every brazilian a monkey?
Styling911 [#4]why deos brazil always play viktim card against LATAM /

I think it's a matter of percentages. Brazilians are more in number, so it appears that A LOT of them are the way they are, but in reality it must be a smaller percentage. Same for the other way the OP states (the % of people doing that is REALLY small at least here in Chile)

I never said brazil didn't do the same?
elayaCL [#3]Hey, Latam here.
There's no such thing as "most of you". For every 10 people you found in reality, maybe 1 does that.
Just watch football matches against BR teams.
There's always a bunch of dudes making monkey noises and gesture.
And you say it's a small number among a lot of people, but if a racist is doing this shit in front of a lot of people and those people don't do shit against it, they are really part of the problem as well

during the match against Kru vs Lev. the live chat was completly filled with brazilians insulting whole latam saying stuff like " Maradona death" "pele better than maradona" "Loud better than latam" stuff like. the whole match, the entire duration of the three maps.

but "pele better than maradona" "Loud better than latam" aren't racist/xenophobic insults lmao. Maradona dead might be over the top, but those two aren't anything compared to the monkey stuff.
Also, mocking maradona isn't insulting the whole LATAM

idk how is it in Brazil, but here in Chile there's a lot of ignorant people who goes to the stadiums (not all of them of course, but A LOT), and those are at the same level of the edgy internet kids who says that kind of stuff. No filter, no brain, hiding between the crowd.
And about your last statement... man, when you do gestures or say something racist/xenophobic/homofobic in public here at 2022, you got destroyed and exposed. I think nobody can gave an objective opinion about HOW A COUNTRY IS based in some situations not considering the day-to-day life UNLESS the person has lived there.

idk about u guys but that its not just coincidence, a lot of brazilian cant take accountability nor a joke (im not saying being racist is fair but what else could they expect?)

Well, i'm glad Chile is this way, for real, my team has played against a chilean team recently and there was no trouble. But you know there are some places in the continent still backwards, we had this year those guys from river making monkey noises against a br club and the rest of the fans either laughed or just stood on their own
And I agree, but I live on a place really close to other countries, so i'm not just an internet opinion

wtf is this study lmao, you can't measure racism like that
Haisuti [#27]Brazilians just love to play the victim card.
I literally just said that Brazil does the same, you sure you're not the one playing the victim card here?
