matchmaking logic

I really don't understand what's the point of matching based on party leader stats, just explain me please wtf is that... Now let's imagine a group of 3 players; 1 gold3, 1 plat3 and 1 dia3,.Plat guy is created the lobby, and he can invite both of him friends and the gold guy is on smurf account, and he is boosting other guys, they started to match making and matched with 2x another dia teammates, and they will play against other 5 plat/dia peoples. Now tell me please what's point of matching a gold3 with dia3 and why I carry these boosted morons in 4/5 every lobby when I search a game? I'm now getting a half hour penalty for breaking the lobby, why do I have to play with these monkeys who can't see their way and I must go down in rank? Why rito don't care about solo queues since then 2 year...

Just installed Blitz in the new season and looking stats of my teammates when I found a game, and I see extremely high elo boost or acc bought peoples on my lobbies. Elo is Dia and Server is TR/EU. How can be so many boosted peoples exist on dia elo in early season?

Now extremely basic an idea just make matchmaking logic is based on stats(for example just on avg points) there is no single point for matching 100 points with 350 in a same lobby. Or another one, there is no point for matching gold with dia in the same lobby, just keep mininum/maximum limit for ranks in matchmaking search for groups, if 2 peoples on groups is based on gold/plat, the third one too should be in this range. I don't think it's hard to do something so simple instead of adding a new rank.

Not disagreeing but where is it stated that matchmaking is based on the MMR/stats of the party leader??

I meant it's based on leader's rank(like in here https://i.imgur.com/sgl1Uka.png) not him MMR or stats, The stats can be affect but won't much in a major rank range, they will still match in a rank range.

VALORANT matches people based on their average MMR, in both ranked and unranked, the game has a hidden MMR system past the visibly displayed one. I have iron friends, when I play with them I get opponents in the range of silver - low diamond, when I solo queue, I get cracked plats - ex-radiants. I also want to note that I do not play ranked one bit, only unrated (still feel unprepared for ranked) which goes to show that VALORANTs hidden MMR system has no physical tie to your real rank until it properly converges (which takes hundreds of games to accurately converge and settle)
TLDR: it does not matter on the leader of the party, but on the average MMR of the team, not to be confused with RR
