I respectfully do not agree because

If there is an APAC igl or duelist, it undermines the validity of the sa region. The stars will all be imports, and the region will not be viewed as legit or good even if they go far.
It limits the growth of homebred players. For ex, valorant needs people who blew up in VALORANT, not CS or overwatch. People like bang, Asuna, dicey, Trent, valyn, cryo and young guns are the future. If sa imports, actual players in Sa will not get the exposure needed to legitimately grow the region
It's not really the aim that is the issue. It is the lack of advanced tactics on the level of others. I believe skrossi or lightningfast has raw aim on par with some of the best in apac. All they need is time and prac. Say you remove hellranger, who will u replace him with? He's not a bad igl, and ge isn't a bad team. Since their start as a team, they have played only 8 series in APAC(only riot official). Again, even igls need time and practice to keep improving.

Now ofc, I am not saying that no roster changes are needed. I believe at this point, KappA needs to be removed, he is too inconsistent, even if he has been doing better recently. However, imports are not the solution, finding homebred talent and facilitating them is.

Esports is on the rise in Sa and soon I hope they will be able to compete with the world!

Buy any players from SBE I think they are free agents.
As for GE, Skrossi needs to master how to rifle sometime in pro play.
OG, they need better aimers and strats so maybe get a coach or change igl.

True what I dont like ge is how controllable hellranger is, on top of that how delusional ge's management is they think they have qualified 3 times for vct so they dont need a roster change lmfao watch every match of ge most of the time its skrossi,skillz and lightningfast winning them rounds, they say kills doesnt matters objective wins matters but on the same time most of their round wins are frag based, they expect skrossi to frag out and kappa to not even win a duel lol, even in lcq they won against vlt just because of skrossi, the whole team lives in a bubble that ge is tactically strong while they have improved hell lot but until kappa is removed and hellranger give more controll to the coach or maybe leave ge there is extreamly bleak hope

Couldn't have said it better. Everyone in GE has a pre-determined mindset that Kappa isn't meant to pop-off. Like wtf? He is cracked only from an Iron-gold player's perspective. Even a plat-diamond guy would look at his gameplay and wonder why an average guy like him gets a slot in Tier 1 team.
