No duelist comp?

What do you think about no duelist comp? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Good for teams that know how to default and play defense
Bad for FaZe

I feel like it's almost always bad, because it is super hard to take space without a duelist, but some teams with a great igl can make it work

advantages

• more utility in a certain area (initiator, controller, sentinel), better defaults
• some maps don't need a duelist since there are other ways to attack sites (Icebox, Ascent, probably Pearl)
• defense is usually a lot stronger

disadvantages

• can be hard to create space if you play it wrong
• star player may not be comfortable if they suck

U need to have 2 or 3 initiators, than it works at least on some maps

I think any comp is viable as long as the other team practices it and know how to use it well at the right situation. Some comps get hard counter though.

look at Fancy without duelist they lose on defense despite leading 8-4 in atackers

"stronger" doesn't mean auto win.

FW had a very strong offense comp as well.

Works if team has synergy and the players are not afraid of entering or else you just gonna wait to get gifted a pick or wait till 20sec to push
