I’ve been playing since beta and literally never seen a cheater once. Pretty crazy. So do people actually cheat, since I thought they got banned after like 1 game?

I dont think theres many cheaters in val due to the very very strong anticheat, probably the least no. Of cheaters for such a big game
i have 900 hrs immo 2/3 and never met a single 1 too

If you can find cheats easily you can ruin 1-2 matches simply so it doesn't matter how long you can use cheats.
Cheaters exist yeah. But riots anticheat is pretty good at catching it and alot of the cheat makers got sued into oblivion by Riot earlier this year. People that were making and selling cheats got hit with cease and desist orders and what not. So yeah it exists but its either hard to come by and typically gets caught 9/10 times
It's hard as hell as vgc blocks most methods to load unsigned kernel drivers (cus it starts on boot and because they actually search for sigs unlike others cough BattlEye) + has all the good usual hooks and more that most commercial acs such as BE and EAC have. It's pretty much impossible to inject without doing some nutty boot shit or using some custom hypervisor. Externals do exist, but are seriously limited.

I think the difference is though that in CSGO you could become a career cheater, and so many many people did (and still do). You cant do that in Val so there's way less incentive to cheat.

i have a friend who sells fortnite cheats for a living, and he explained to me how easy it is to do the "nutty boot shit", so cheating in valorant - if done properly - just takes a couple more extra steps, but vgc is still very much passable

I have come across atleast 2-3 cheaters in 1k hours... and i have seen one of my friends talk bout cheats.. HWID ban doesnt seem to hold off cheaters, but they mostly use them on new accounts

It's just people assuming smurfers or people better than them are cheaters. Got to factor in those things when you see people talking about cheaters as many silver and gold player love to throw out the cheater card anytime there is an enemy that is very good at the game (Smurfers)

Problem is that majority of people dont understand that now came new generation of cheats with machine intelligence, kind of real time aim assist
Even Vanguard can't do anything with it.

while i dont know if any of them got banned, some of these people were a bit too obvious (e.g getting very low ms reaction time OP shots more than once or twice/only really hitting shots with OP in the first place and playing very poorly in every other round.)

but it doesn't pay out in valorant to cheat and make it to pro because sooner or later you have to bootcamp or show up on LAN and thats the moment you get fccd'd
still im pretty sure some pro players do cheat to not get dropped and forgetten and make themselves a name for a twitch career

Well yeah you have to preload your driver before vgc starts, which is pretty hard. Even if you load it iirc they have far better kernel protection than EAC which fortnite uses. I think vgc prevents APC manipulation which is pretty much the staple of most kernel-based injectors. The few extra steps are not very easy at all

I used a cheat like 1.5yrs ago from a guy called aligator or smth and we had telegram group and shit..it was like 30$ a month, so I got to Immo3 ( i was using only wallhack) and than the guy deleted the cheat he dissapeared and I wasnt using cheat after that but my acc got banned after a montth for cheats..idk why so late
