honeymoon period
babysasuke [#2]Lnatic
true once honeymoon period over they will be back to average like always
they only ever look insane 2-3 weeks after a roster move, its always same story with fnatic

people just like to find any anecdotal term to call a team bad/lucky. sure honeymoon periods happen, but that doesnt cause methodical retakes, high level strat plays good mid round calls. honeymoons often mean players hitting shots and everyone playing in synergy, the opponents cant seem to find a solution to that. also the 2021 fnatic team did quite a comeback from not qualifying for masters 3 to beating c9 and drx in champions and looking seriously good. does a honeymoon last an entire year? and fnatic wasnt really ever that type of team(they had much more things involved in their success). calling fnatic's success honeymoon is a very L take. and whatever it is, lets see what happens in masters 2 (if the "honeymoon lasts that long").
wiki [#3]dislike, if anything roster moves have been shown to be detrimental to teams in this game as they usually destroy synergy.
its the opposite I would say, specially when its big firepower upgrades like this: liquid with nivera/jamppi, fnatic with derke and magnum, c9 with vanity, etc... they dont really destroy synergy, 1-2 players change doesnt destroy sinergy, they are fit into the system and if they are insane firepower upgrades its insta honeymoon period,

brotha, vanity isnt a firepower upgrade, and 1-2 players do take time to synergise it isnt easy. and if this is your logic literally every team that does a change often gets the better higher performing player added into the team... does that mean literally every team gets on a honeymoon period?? bruh

at champions they looked their best and great without honeymoon i wont lie though anderzzz did help them immensely there, fixed some of their role issues and got their shit together

I said most teams, and obviously vanity isnt a firepower upgrade LMAO thats why I said that in most cases if the firepower upgrade is HUGE its easily a honeymoon period 99% of the times but it can also happen with IGL, if you have shit IGL and get a great IGL its normally honeymoon period 99% of the times too, there can be expections but what I mean is that if a team gets a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG firepower upgrade its almost always honemoon period, this is because when you get new players into your team and suddenly you win all fights you are in an incredible mental space, it feels like everything works, when it ends it can get tough if they didnt prepare for when hitting all your shots stops working like fnatic after iceland

they don't destroy synergy if they are done well, yes, that should be obvious from how fnatic are performing. hasn't jampii been with liquid since the start, and again yes nivera was a good addition. There's no logical explanation for a "honeymoon period", all it is, is that it was a good roster move (of which I admit I was sceptical), and good integration which is highly likely if we consider who fnatic are as a team...
no_noise_979 [#6]every teams different
every team has a different style of play and different players, but they are playing the same game against same teams. that line could be used for any concept that involves inter-team similarity.
