VCT + PGL Format

This format would be kind of dope for VCT no? Idk if BO1s would be good tho with 13 round wins but the swiss group stage is dope IMO and better than the GSL that Riot runs for VCT. And there would be more teams (24 instead of 12/16). Thoughts?

Valorant desperately needs to update the format because you have teams flying out only to lose two BO3's and get sent home. If you only have a limited number of international events, more games need to be played. Swiss stage would be the best and you could easily do BO3's for it due to the shorter game times. Only problem is Riot loves their single stream and watch parties instead of running multiple games at once, so instead of maximizing top teams at the event, they cut teams to improve production times and instead end up with a crappy format.

No because the BO1s ruin it but it would take way too long if everything was BO3

BO1 doesn't work well in Valorant tbh and BO3 suiss would be a schedule nightmare.
