but i think this is true
VALORANT "mainly" is a game of adaptation.
imo, Valorant focuses more on adaptation, while cs focuses more on perfection

frake_monster [#5]why there is a need of comparison, sometimes it is useful for both games to be compared to each other but people are forcing it too much.
personally i enjoy watching both games but i would prefer playing valorant
cs frogs are insecure bc for every time they say csgo better, the queue time decreases 1 sec from the 24 hours

it's fun arguing with CS fan lol
and eventually, they will try valorant & admit that valorant > cs
patuj [#12]Kind of true. But you need both for both games. CSGO is way more perfected, but is also constantly evolving. While Valorant evolves and changes more often and faster, but you also need to perfect stuff or at least try to. And you need strong adaptation in both games. Every opponent plays different.

not really true tbh, high level cs adaptation is key to sucess, unlike many who dont know shit about cs and think every1 does the same strats every single time and it is about doing it the best you can, it is not true, there is a lot of top teams with different playstyles (aggro/slow, aggro awpers/passive awpers, heroic weird gambling style, virtuspro cancer style) and you still need to adapt in every map you play depending on how enemies are approaching map control and other things, in the macro game almost the same general concepts apply to both games, the only thing that changes is utility
also in valorant you also need perfection lol, look at gambit play, literally perfect defaulting/adaptation/mid rounding/decision making, they play a simple game, they dont have crazy gimmicks like fnatic/drx but are fundamentally close to perfection
tldr: bullshit, adaptation is key/repetition doesnt even make sense lol, how does cs require repetition when a strat stops being meta in 2 weeks and you need to adapt already

also, how does valorant focus more on adaptation to you? and how does cs focus more on perfection? perfection means no mistakes which is basically what you need in valorant too, you need adaptation in csgo as much as you need in valorant, almost the same with perfection, you need to commit as little mistakes as possible in both games
