I wouldn't be surprised only because I think AMD market share is growing due to used AMD gpus being insane value and even new AMD cards having better performance per dollar. plus Intel cards and slowly cutting the mid-range market. I think HOPEFULLY they're slightly feeling the pressure.

we'll see how they do with this lineup though

I have played CS since Source and played CS2 and still do. I also still play Valorant.
Valorant is way more polished and consistent than CS, and generally pros agree. It's unfortunate but it's the truth. It used to be a comparison of "Do you want more depth in character mechanics and util, or more depth in movement and gunplay?" when GO was still out, but now Valorant unfortunately clears in all 4. Really sucks.

so happy to be playing valorante where we don't have a broken game on release and then abandoned for this

CS players coping about valorante child game while their companies new game looks like actual mobile game...
terrible fortune.
it's not a virus sorry for the bad link, it's what I found.

gotcha, that's unfortunate. arc outperforms both if you could get it at MSRP

it's also Intel's first jump in for a while, so I'm super hopeful. competition is always good!

just got a 6800xt for an upcoming build for $380
absolute steal, literally so happy about it.
pairing it with a 12900k, 32gb of ddr5-6000 and a good mobo combo I got for 400
pretty much got an entire 1440p monster for 1.1k

$320 MSRP
it's very good for the price now

posted 1 week ago

thank god someone mentioned intel
if you're a new builder don't use it, but if you're a more experienced builder and know what to enable/disable and comfortable in BIOS, an Arc A770 is INSANE for the price especially with the newer drivers and updates Intel is releasing. thing goes crazy for the price.

posted 1 week ago

agreed, but in most titles you won't need FSR unless you want to ray trace or you're trying to use an older AMD GPU for AAA games and use FSR to make up for it.
if you're getting a 6800xt (this is for 1440p) or better and you don't use ray tracing, you shouldn't ever need to use FSR for 60+ FPS
if you want ray tracing, you'll have to use FSR which yeah is a lot worse than DLSS on top of generally AMD cards not being good at ray tracing yet.

AFK Journey is fun, I finished it as F2P
definitely a bit grindy towards the second half, you'll have to stop playing and wait to grind out levels for your characters overnight to progress through the AFK function sometimes to continue. Overall still very fun though!

it seems like finally someone is advocating for players and organizations to be pushed and supported not just by an outside organization but riot themselves even more so to make this a legitimate career, and even more important that he specifies challengers is also on that path.

laz: 1.13 (sentinel)
dep: 1.09 (duelist)
yuran: 1.05 (viper flex) and he's new so he has time to grow and get better
sugarzer0: 1.04 (controller) consistent on LAN + IGLing
hiroronn: 0.87 (initiator) another new player but I think they can find better
stats aren't the full picture obviously but they're still important

I am from the future of June 10th, 2024

After witnessing Paper Rex make history by winning Masters Shanghai, becoming the first Pacific Valorant team to claim an international title. Their journey through the tournament was nothing short of spectacular.

Paper Rex showcased remarkable skill, strategy, and teamwork throughout the event. Key players, such as f0rsaken, jinggg, and something, delivered standout performances, consistently outplaying their opponents with individual brilliance and coordinated team efforts. Their strategies were innovative, and their adaptability in high-pressure situations set them apart from the competition.

The grand final was a thrilling best-of-five series against the formidable 100 Thieves, who had been favorites throughout the tournament. Paper Rex secured a 3-1 victory, with decisive wins on maps like Ascent and Bind. The final map on Lotus was particularly intense, going into multiple overtimes before Paper Rex clinched the victory.

Jingg was the MVP of the tournament. He secured another trophy and many VLR fans finally agreed Jinggg is the GOAT of Valorant.

This historic win has put Paper Rex on the global Valorant map and inspired many aspiring players in Singapore and the broader Pacific region. Their success story demonstrates the rising potential and talent within the Pacific esports community, paving the way for future achievements.

Celebrations erupted across Pacific, with fans and supporters showing immense pride in their team’s accomplishment. This victory is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of everyone involved with Paper Rex, marking a new era for Pacific Valorant on the international stage.

Well, that's it from me, this will be the first and last message that I'll post.

Hope it worked.

yeah I was leaning T1 mostly because I think G2 squeaked by because icy had solid games in playoffs once he got past nerves but his nerves will immediately come back on international stage
lev looked shaky later in season so I also think that's good, Gen.G is solid.
