This has been said for every tournament in this game's history
I feel like that would just doom Japan to never qualify for anything (I mean that might be the case right now anyways but still)
they have their own region because riot can make a shit ton of money off the huge number of orgs in the country
riot don't give a fuck about region quality, if they did half of pacific wouldn't exist
all riot cares is how many eyes can they get on their product that will make consistent sustainable cash
if we want china to succeed it needs better leaders in terms of coaches and igls
in an ideal world i think you could've had china and korea in one region, maybe like 4 korea 7 china, then slot in a few random apac teams for pacific
bro he was repping navi before too, imagine being so confident you change your whole persona and then youre proven wrong
write this dude's name down, we found the vlr village idiot
idk why everyone shits on g2 when lev did even worse
boostio is just more unhinged zellsis if you think about it
and when fnatic needed him most, he vanished
t1 is the main exception since a lot of the korean talent they've had spoken english for years on previous teams (saya & carpe in ow, xeta for c9, i think munchkin for crazy raccoon? not 100% on that one), so it isn't that much of a nerf compared to some of the other teams who need players to learn from scratch
im not about to be baited into this argument by someone with groomer as their username
It's possible izu goes, idk how good his English is and carpe has been tied to t1 (or their owners at the very least) for 7 years
because his team sucks? we all saw that round where kingg omen ulted away in a 2v2, aspas doesn't have nearly the same caliber of supporting players to set him up
Lev picked sunset by the way
Yes but so is every region this year so they're chillin
As much as I like the players they desperately need a new caller
Problem wasn't the comp, just awful macro with no adjustments made
I never want to watch fpx ever again
tzh kinda clean with it ngl
babyj and ec1s was worse, those dudes legit played 2 weeks and got booted
at this point he's better off as a team staff member, he's getting up there in age and i don't think his calling style translates well into current day
Revenge of the sith
kru always has the most tragic tournament results
Wtf are they smoking with that icebox comp
"Notice how basically every team who won a major had very structured roles"
eg had 4 different players on smokes at different points in the champs grand final
