fontaine and sumeru story is pretty good tho (especially for a gacha)
while I don't agree with OP's reasoning, I do think c0m is impactful and that he does contribute to the calling of the team (even if he's not igl).
Right now he's playing pretty poorly, but he's proven that he can contribute well to a championship team's success and a lot of people on vlr have already forgot that.
Yeah I completely agree on the take with combat.
Genshin's combat is honestly underrated and too good for it's game. There's a lot of aspects that you have to know to optimize your clears especially if you are f2p. Rotations, ICD, application rate, animation canceling, and more, there's a lot of depth in genshin's combat that doesn't get talked about. Don't even get me started on double swirling and other nerd shit like that. Team building is way more fun and complex than WW and the combat is way more unique compared to WW.
Yeah and genshin does the other stuff miles better, I agree with that as well.

Combats good but it's not anything too special. And that's pretty much the best part by far.

F0rsaken is really clean. It's not super flashy and doesn't have insane animations, but theres something about it that makes me go back to using it every time.
Trying to judge how good a player is individually based on team success has always been a slippery slope ngl.
The funny thing is that everything you said for chronicle just now is also true for f0rsaken. He started as mainly a duelist (and was terrorizing all of Apac) and transitioned into that flex role. And when you talk about Chronicles flexibility and how he's good on every agent I agree. But f0rsaken has played ever more agents than chronicle and plays them at just as high of a level.
Also I've been watching since 2021 I know that chronicle is exceptional in any role and is in goat contention especially with all the accolades he has.

Individually f0rsaken clears, but I do agree that his accolades aren't even close to Chronicles.
PRX, TH, FNC, Gen G, and 100T all look better rn. But things can easily change.

Ethan, victor, and crashies played the best on NRG this split. The only problem with keeping those three is the roles as no one there plays Jett (ethan plays yoru and victor plays raze tho). However, if they were able to sort out the roles, the fire power on that team would be crazy + they would have an amazing igl.

Everyone on that team covered eachother's weaknesses perfectly and Potter is a goated coach. I always hated the narrative that Demon1 made EG and vice-versa. They were a team with perfect synergy, no one carried.
