Bro I'm telling you rn m3c not making it to this master's is the biggest fluke in Valorant history. Next time it happens there will be a roster change.

posted about 2 years ago

1.m3c
2.current optic/fpx
3.fpx/current optic
4.old fnatic/ online guard
5.Drx when they are not choking or throwing could be higher but meh

  1. loud
  2. zeta
  3. prx
  4. guard
  5. lulquid
  6. c9

Edit: Reasonings
M3c are still the best in the world. You can hear from the players that scrim them and you can feel it from their last games. Literally the biggest fluke in the history of val that they didn't make it and players from other teams say it is too. They literally had half their team switch roles while looking the most burnt out they've ever been and they still looked like the best team in the world most of the time.
Only putting fpx and optic 2/3 because fpx is fpx they would still be heavy favorites for the tourney if it happened rn and optic just look hot and improved since the start of the tourney where I would have put them below fpx before but I don't know how improved maybe fpx have gotten since last we saw them so hard to compare.

Old fnatic would have been a favorite for this tourney too, they showed so much before coming to Iceland but just unfortunate circumstances. You could say they were third seed but holy fuck those seeding match games were the most useless matches I've ever seen. Really think fnatic would have been the team to win if not for the circumstances.
Pairing it up with online guard because I didn't want them to fully replace a team in the list just wanted to compare. Like did you see that run? They literally have the best fundamentals in the world when they are on. I'm guessing they underperformed compared to what they were showing in scrims but just have to shake it off and go next I guess.

Drx at times can be maybe even at the top of this list like right up there but also can look like they're playing ranked and inting mid lane every 5 seconds type of feel. Consistency and a playbook. You go from saying wow this seems like the best team in the tournament to thinking the fuck are they doing are they throwing? Yes, they are. They really seem to lose confidence for some reason when they're literally so cracked n jacked. I guess tho this is a good sign for them. They can compete with the best and they basically recently created a new foundation and igl direction to grow from so excited to see how they figure out consistency and just add to their repertoire. Just genuinely worried if they would have to make a roster move if this keeps happening. They've just shown such greats highs that I'm willing to just put them bang straight into the middle of the list.

Loud. They are great but that's not enough. They are great and even better when they are confident. That's it tho just seems like a team that's going to end up being a gatekeeper S tier team unless some major change and improvement happens where they become so special that they're just not 5 great players with decent ideas and become a championship team. The players are young and hopefully, develop well and they don't become like smb where the team starts imploding and sucking just because they lose confidence. Just not giving them the high yet because I feel like from my perspective that didn't seem like enough what they showed, meaning in the future I feel like they could show more and could do better. If they are consistently a podium finishers then I would be convinced and impressed that they were able to consistently improve. But in the end of the day it just feels like they're just the team out of the international a or low s tier teams that ended up in the higher place finish this time around. Feels just like the level of a champion's liquid where they won't win the championship but gets to playoffs and sometimes has a podium finish. Until they take a further step they are stuck in that cycle so many teams are currently in or were in. Genuinely think optics and louds destiny of being 2nd-6th was cut off by 3 better teams not attending.

zeta and prx are just there for placements
zeta actually seemed decent. Their gameplans and plays in general seemed to keep getting better. Dk what happened but I guess they just ended up crumbling in the end. They've shown they can improve and learn from mistakes just dk how high the ceiling is yet with those 5 cracked players.
Prx. Feels like a decent team that can make decent runs. Just feels like a team that going to be stuck in the playoffs cycle where they won't be championship level until they take a further step. Was thinking maybe they were close to their ceiling but I feel like were never gonna get to know now that jinggg has to leave.

Guard this event. Good team. They genuinely didn't even play badly the other teams were just better.

Liquid. Same thing as prx and loud just a playoff team for now. Better than anyone expected them to be but they got to figure something and I don't think anyone knows the answer or even what they're trying to fix with it. Nivera is goated. Him and Jamppi can become liquid most important 2 players to success in their coming years.

C9. cuz literally who else is there. Only putting them here to point out g2 is not even close to this top 10

posted about 2 years ago

yeah I think that too but you could genuinely get some nice lineups that people don't expect and stuff like sova darts and skye dogs that are easy to kill still get some good value to be fair. She's pretty nice for playmaking tho too idek think we need to people to play her more eitherway

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah feel like with people assuming jett is going to fall out the meta they're going to try to play more neon and raze, especially with how good optic made neon look. Genuinely think the approach to win stuff now if ur a good team is to literally try to force an off-meta newly released agent into your comps and either it works really well and other teams won't know how to counter it or you literally get fucked cuz it turns out it sucks or u were approaching her the wrong way.

Feel like fade is better than she initially looks. Her cats are genuinely really good for clearing corners and info and feel like you could have some good lineups and even have creative mid-round util with the rest of her basic kit. Like really high lineups for her recon and like maybe thrown over wall stuff with her roots. Feels like an agent you could set up with and at the same time try to be more free flowy like a phoenix or a skye.

They're literally just doing set plays with neon and yay is yay so of course

posted about 2 years ago

bro loud why u so slow to react

posted about 2 years ago

Reasonable take. Loud is the 5th best team in playoffs. Drx, prx, zeta > loud in this form and with zetas improvement. They beat the 2 teams that looked the worst in plays-offs with liquid and g2. Only putting them above guard cuz guard got 8th even thought guard looked decent.

damn i was expecting a 2-0 from ghost but they're better than I thought. Actually might be a dark horse or even a favourite out of the teams that aren't t1 ish for vct

posted about 2 years ago

now this is a game with literally jobs on the line

posted about 2 years ago

I have a question to br fans. Was one of the complaints u guys had about vikings was that gtn was not good? Did you guys still rate like frz and sutecas good too?

posted about 2 years ago

are the seeds in top 16 randomized or something? thought knights and 100t were meant to be 1st and second seed unlucky wanted to see them in finals.

Honestly if 100t beat a vct playoff team 2 weeks into their roster that would be exceeding expectations so it would be a good sign if they at least make it a close and good game. Best growth for this roster would be to just qual by the second qualifier and just grow with the group stage like the other teams did last stage. Top 8/6 should be a realistic success cuz that means they would have pushed a couple good teams out of playoffs contention

posted about 2 years ago

nah bro this shit rigged wanted knights vs 100t final

posted about 2 years ago

100t fans on reddit and vlr confuse me. People were saying he is good and he has pre t1-experience where he was decent. His recent stats even backed him up more to show he has gotten better fragging-wise. They were saying it was a bad move yet they change their mind 2 b01's into a knights tourney group.

posted about 2 years ago

dk much bout natank but actually great to see players from the vrl like him and h1ber get more opportunities. A great scene for players to get a decent chance to show what they got and for scouting to ig.

posted about 2 years ago

I guess theres the point of actually being in challengers if he joins big but I would trust the vitality project more because of the names and just potential it could have

posted about 2 years ago

The problem is you only know the toxic people not the nice people

posted about 2 years ago

Nah bro calling it man. If you want your team to succeed just pray they get second or something consistently instead of first. Bout to be a curse with whoever win champs just implodes and sucks and whoever wins Reykjavik turns irrelevant by the next years first masters.

I mean like if braveaf is unable to comeback because the suspension stays in place, fearoth will probably be the first person they would consider as the replacement and because hype is still a great player and has the backing of fearoth he's probably going to be given a good chance. Alliance weren't even bad this split and 1 player possibly leaving shouldn't be enough to dissolve a decent roster is the main reason for what i'm saying. Like maybe 2 players of the core leaving could be enough to end the project you know? If it makes other players not want to play or makes the org lose trust/interest in continuing. Like vo0kashu is good and has great highs but in the sense of consistency hype seems to be more consistent and is more of a 100 percent sentinel that fnatic will need. Also maybe there is a factor that because of the situation that happened with braveaf that management would probably be hesitant to sign another russian player during this time. Whether it be for pr, passport issues or just wtv fnatic is a team that no matter what circumstances that want to be the best and they wouldn't want any extraneous variables like nationality interfering with their results in any form or at any time.

posted about 2 years ago

With the dissolving of the alliance roster and braveaf currently still being suspended I have a theory. Hype is replacing magnum with fearoth joining fnatic as well. Makes sense that if they need to replace braveaf for the near future and are thinking of replacing magnum to bring in a good performing and consistent sentinel like hype. If you look at his performances and stat's they're great and with the backing of fearoth they probably trust how good he is as well.

Well he is good mechanically and sen was basically always good with him to the point that he was the main identity of the roster or the start player basically. He has a lot of lan experience and probably has the most actual top-level like t1 level experience out of those people like he can and has won international titles type you know? Genuinely dk how sentinels with sinatraa will do tho just depends on if the roles actually end up fitting and just hope someone like sick whos supposedly switching roles doesnt gets pushed off the roster later if he doesn't perform on the role he basically got forced into. Even if he says it was his choice really is gonna define his career from now on whether he succeeds from here or not. Not even a firepower problem for sentinels tho. Literally just some of their games they just looked straight up bad in some of them like uncoordinated stuff you know? In that game against v1 they looked decent too tho, you could tell they were trying to fix their problems and it was working. Just wonder how far they could have gone with that improvement.

posted about 2 years ago

zeta 2-1
probably one of the teams that has the most experience against prx scrimming but prx are still on a roll and can give zeta trouble. Zeta has been getting better and better and they got the time to create a game plan and improve. Honestly that gameplan against drx was great so expectations are high. Firepower is great in zeta and maybe it is more top-heavy in prx but genuinely dk how good zeta players can be mechanically.

These people saying - rb are idiots. This guy is great he just had a couple bad games and that's it. Leading up to the tournament he literally topfragged almost every game. He obviously was just shaky/nervous and just basically choked with the rest of his team. Doesn't matter if he doesn't top frag too if he's in a team that doesn't have a weak weak link, everyone's gonna frag. Get a mental coach and they just need to improve on what they got this split. They appointed a new igl and changed/improved their game style, they just got to work and improve on it and that's pretty much it because it's already so good and it fr has potential. This was like the first tourney drx actually looked like they could or should be tourney favourites in an international tourney and people are saying they should make a roster move.
They're amazing rn and this is just gonna be the initial version of this drx we'll see be amazing literally just have to branch off of what they got. They said they basically changed their playstyle from champs with their new igl and just let them grow wtv
