what i wanna know is how should they change up their sunset comp too. if victor on raze is the move, where does demon1 fit into that comp?

murder happened

posted 1 month ago

a superteam...overperforming...right...

posted 1 month ago

they got annoyed by their own fans so they decided to prove them wrong

posted 1 month ago

they talk about madrid more than the upcoming shanghai and then tell sen fans to stop living in the past like…what??

posted 1 month ago
  1. fnc was just the best team undisputed, fluke or no fluke

  2. lock in favored teams that were intact for much longer with the exception of fnc so ofc it would be the same teams as champs 2022.

  3. 3-11 is both a crumble and a fluke

  4. this is literally the most expected trend based on prep time and footage

  5. we don't know yet

posted 1 month ago

NRG fans like you keep saying "stop living in the past" when ppl say how good teams like sen and loud were due to kickoff but then continue to cry about a tournament that's already past. like...make up your mind

posted 1 month ago

nah you've just been shitting on sen forever, dont take the high road now behind a mild take

posted 1 month ago

clearly you've never traveled far enough to experience jetlag, just stay home kid

posted 1 month ago

ok hold up luv u and all but pls dont jinx it, i found that sen kept winning their madrid games when i wasnt watching so CHILLLL LOL

posted 1 month ago

i see this as a norm for him now LETS GOO

posted 1 month ago

this was an expected trend given that non-madrid teams have hella footage on those that played in madrid and time off to practice and prep their own thing

posted 1 month ago

your rephrasing is invalid if your own team's narrative is "can 100t finally win a trophy at all?"

posted 1 month ago

it’ll be even more difficult obviously but if they can progress to even higher heights throughout the year then its 100% in the conversation

posted 1 month ago

this is expected with non-madrid teams having all the practice and footage in the world on those that played

posted 1 month ago

all annoying fans are the same no matter what org they side with. its just that in val there are MORE of them that are sen fans as the most popular in this community. but like the post above me said, sen themselves have been down the drain for a while now and mocked just as much as when they were early winners so to downplay how much the fans get to celebrate after a drought is disingenuous

posted 1 month ago

its crazy for you to pose the question of why val frogs cope that hard when in reality nobody in the val community gives a shit about what the cs community has to say about a game they will never accept

posted 1 month ago

if you’re gonna put in sonder might as well add in Amy 😭

posted 1 month ago

nah bro johnqt jetlagged, team hasnt rlly had much time to practice and 100t got all the footage in the world on sen rn. if anything 100t SHOULD be favored today

posted 2 months ago

your team crumbled in the final map thats not luck. thats a mentality diff. whats lucky is lakia getting kills

posted 2 months ago

i’m not even a big aspas fan but this is the worst take i’ve seen in a while on this site. hope you recover from this illness prayin for you brotha

posted 2 months ago

look i love jinggg he's a great player but his agent pool is fairly limited to raze or off meta agents like sage phoenix or reyna. he'll still be able to fry on a majority of the maps since they need raze, but there are questions on how he will fit when prx needs to play icebox or breeze. like what are they gonna permaban breeze now and let icebox through to put him back on sage like he used to?? its just a question

posted 2 months ago

i’m wondering the same thing. obviously jinggg is unarguably one of the best razes in the world but monyet is more flexible in terms of roles just from his ability to play smokes alone. prx coulda rlly cooked with more time with him but i guess we’ll just have to see if jinggg still got it in him

posted 2 months ago

i feel like this might be different from comms he would need in pro plays. obviously he can speak english to some degree even back then but mid round when situations call for adaptive changes or expressing new ideas he still could’ve found it difficult to word things right when situations call for on the fly calling. this is just speculation of course most of us don’t know the whole story

posted 2 months ago

i was fuming bc of this guy on youtube that legit still believed him to be a “clout merchant” even after his madrid performance. somehow ppl still find a way to hate tenz despite being one of the most likeable players and in the most wholesome relationship in the scene

posted 2 months ago

idk about every other champions, i think they're trying to shift toward more swiss formats like madrid?

posted 2 months ago

can’t rlly change much against a game with decades of history ingrained into basically generations of cultures at this point. val is gonna have to be out for alot longer than 4 years for the neckbeards to come out and cheer

posted 2 months ago

if an eu team made playoffs in madrid it might’ve looked like this but i guess we won’t know till next event that happens in europe

posted 2 months ago

i respect your list. if nrg has put in the necessary work the last couple months to iron out the kinks they can exceed this for sure

posted 2 months ago

it was to give china more time to integrate their vct league its not pointless, and its gonna be shorter for the next seasons anyways

posted 2 months ago

the phrase "relative to competition" alone should automatically put tenz as the highest peak in val history if we're really gonna go there

posted 2 months ago

i think they're supposed to start earlier next season since this season mostly took longer for china to integrate their league

posted 2 months ago

you missed the point entirely. you're claiming a trophy that was won under optic gaming. nrg never won anything

posted 2 months ago

why are u acting like nrg didnt pick up the core of another team that won under a different name not nrg LMAOO if you're gonna clown sen's whole history at least stick to nrg's actual history which was nonexistent before they picked up optic and didnt even win under NRG

posted 2 months ago

a 3-1 loss in 2022 is not "almost", and your relevancy comes from getting consistently slapped by BLG

posted 2 months ago

so you're saying your team had 2 more years of opportunity to win more international trophies than sen...and still ended up with just 1??

posted 2 months ago

consistent, yet yall had the same number of masters to show for it as the "laughing stock" who btw just got their next one yesterday. hope this helps :)

posted 2 months ago

werent u the one yapping during sen vs nrg saying sen will never make a masters??? oof

posted 2 months ago

calling it fraudulent is the biggest reason this take is not serious. it deals too much with "coulda woulda shoulda" narratives that at the end of the day didn't happen. complain about the kickoff format? cool! riot's changing it for the next year. does that equate to madrid being a fluke? absolutely not. the teams that won were in form at the right time they needed to be regardless of format and they earned their spot. thats it, prepare for shanghai and move on

posted 2 months ago

if gen g can’t contain heroics then they deserve to lose.

posted 2 months ago

this is a real masters tournament. no one-time lock in event, no "early days of val esports" narrative. gen g were just better at the end of the day

posted 2 months ago

that map advantage look too strong for gen g ngl. sen’s map pool is not fleshed out enough yet but im still praying they find their stride to make it competitive

posted 2 months ago

im actually happy for APAC if they do win, about time yall made your mark in val

posted 2 months ago

i need him to start casting international events THIS YEAR please

posted 2 months ago

karon's quote about loud alone gives him some recognition for this

posted 2 months ago

very similar to sen's first game against loud where they get thrown off by a comp they arent used to playing. especially since barely anyone plays neon like miniboo id say it was a great learning experience that happily ended up w a win as well

posted 2 months ago

wait for next year when they change it then, just dont watch the games if ur gonna complain

posted 2 months ago

2-1 womp womp
