something wasnt there. they had CGRS

posted 2 weeks ago

Optic flopped equally as much as PRX. Lost 2 grand finals harder than PRX ever did I may add. Does order of events matter when this is an all time list especially when the guy put the guard/G2 that went over a long span as well as PRX

posted 2 weeks ago

they also got 3rd in tokyo and 3rd in madrid

posted 2 weeks ago

i agree that teams now are way better than teams before.

posted 2 weeks ago

Is there an argument to be made that PRX is greater than OPTIC/ENVY. I see often that OPTIC/ENVY are always in the discussion for one of the greatest team of all time because of their 2022 run where they placed 1st, 3rd and 2nd in the international events. I feel like if we break it down OPTIC has also lost 2 international grand finals and won 1 masters just as PRX did. I would also say PRX has placement in better in more international events. I feel like the order of these tournaments played a huge role in peoples perception.

IDK what this list is based off. Is it based off achievement overall in a set time period or like how dominant they were. Over the years all time you would have to say FNATIC or PRX bc of their placements over the years and maybe OPTIC/ENVY that had a lot of success over 2 years. If its based off peak dominance. SEN 2021 for that masters was leading up to that masters were so dominant. Theres a reason why PRX and FNATIC are ranked 1 and 2 in tournament winnings.

wouldnt a good way to solve this be to have the trialed player sign an NDA and just sue them if they break it

posted 2 months ago

idk what your list is based off. if its off longevity and consistency I wouldn't say tenz or ardiis. I would like to through in forsaken to be able to play so many roles and be consistent for this long. Also someone from DRX for their consistent performance (mako, buzz, stax). Also someone like Flor or maybe someone from edg (chichoo, kangkang)

posted 3 months ago

what is this based off. It doesnt seem to be based off performance and you're telling me if you had a brand new team you would take mada over oxy and flor

posted 3 months ago

i would say C9 white/ shoppify

posted 3 months ago

is this list based off org or teams. I don't think you can say 2021 sen is the same as 2024 sen. You cant be grouping NRG and optic together

posted 3 months ago

which teams has the most trophies. I didn't check but I believe its EDG

I would say GENG or Th were the real protagonist of 2024.
I felt that when TenZ unretired to fill in for the real goat of Valorant was a downgrade.
I think what you are feeling is because the real goat of valorant has switched gears to marvel rivals

posted 3 months ago

why did you have to specifically separate NA out as a subregion. Thats like wondering where your African players are at. Also why does org matter that's like saying FPX won masters for china. Also who is getting farmed from Americas besides governer and flyuh maybe saadhak as well, but they other like 5 imports from Americas are doing fine

posted 3 months ago

I said since EMEA's last trophy

posted 3 months ago

since emea last trophy

EG vs PRX
SEN vs GENG
GENG vs TH
EDG vs TH
T1 vs G2

emea 2 grand finals (0 wins)
americas 3 grand finals (2 wins)
pacific 4 grand finals (2 wins)
china 1 grand finals (1 win)

posted 3 months ago

how is it not true?

posted 3 months ago

well i guess i didnt make it clear that I meant which region is currently the worst. Emea as the current longest international drought. Also the worst performing region at the most recent international

posted 3 months ago

Im not saying they arent competitve. Im just saying they are the worst region

since emea's last trophy
emea 2 grand finals (0 wins)
americas 3 grand finals (2 wins)
pacific 4 grand finals (2 wins)
china 1 grand finals (1 win)

Maybe you could say china is worst region but they are defending world champs right now so idk

posted 3 months ago

Reasons why i think so

  • Half the teams half imports from Americas (china has imports from pacific but china is technically a pacific country [russia and Australia are also technically in the pacific countries])
  • worst placement in masters bangkok
  • The region with the longest international trophy drought

acend has won a masters and champs though. EG hasnt

posted 4 months ago

acend won masters and champs though

posted 4 months ago

gotta keep in mind it was a different meta. Skye meta both EG and PRX thrived in it. Ethan was a top skye player. Also, having a great raze and jett benefitted both teams at the time.

posted 4 months ago

something can definitely play raze. He has before but just doesn't on paperrex bc they have jinggg

posted 5 months ago

I think its equal in difficulty if not harder to win than champs however I do not think its worth more than champs. I think tournaments should be based off Prestige and prize money to determine its value, in which champs has lock/in beat in both categories.

Okay so what is the right way to compare the speed in both games? I have yet to find hard evidence that CS is faster than Val. Everyone just says it feels faster. Ive also played a lot of Apex legends and every character in that game moves at the same rate but everyone thought gibby moved slower than everyone else bc he was fat and pumped his arms more slowly. Are we sure that we aren't experiencing a similar experience

posted 8 months ago

So a standardized measurement isnt equal? Ive played both games as well

posted 8 months ago

I play both games

posted 8 months ago

I keep hearing people say CS2 movement is faster than Valorant is this really true? I tried finding videos comparing the two but all i find is people on reddit just saying it is. Based on my own calculations i found the Valorant has faster movement. Since Speed = Distance / Time. Valorant knife movement is already given in the game being 6.75 m/s while CS says the knife speed is 250 hammer units/second while each hammer unit converted to meters according to a developer is 0.01905 meters meaning the speed in CS is 4.7625 m/s. I wonder if people just feel that CS is faster bc of shittier servers making peekers advantage more impactful or if most players play 4:3 making the game feel faster.

They are 7/10 valuable

posted 9 months ago

So if Sen do better than 7th best in the league this upcoming season then will you admit that tenz and sacy aren’t the two most important pieces

posted 9 months ago

C9 had unknown players that year and Sen had 4 champions lol

posted 9 months ago

Half of c9 “supporting cast” ain’t even in the league anymore. Regardless of qualifying for a lan or anything they had a way better year than Sen. they actually won some prize money.

posted 9 months ago

Literally in 2023 Zellsis had a better year without those people

posted 9 months ago

As important as tenz, zekken, and sacy that were all on the same team in 2023 that came 7th in Americas vs adding Zellsis and JohnQT that resulted in a kickoff win, masters win and top 4 champs

posted 9 months ago

Most valuable is crazy when they didn’t get good until Zellsis and especially JohnQT joined

And Sen was already good before tenz joined and they were bad before and after sacy joined

posted 9 months ago

screwface is literally a champion

his madrid wasnt over that bad. Him and his team won 5 rounds against loud i think its more than a duelist issue there
