cool
will be interesting to see them vs EP at EMEA #3 hopefully
have a shot at the second ever full lower bracket run at an international
(not counting 4 team playoffs)
the last and only time was FPX at masters copenhagen
https://www.vlr.gg/event/1014/valorant-champions-tour-stage-2-masters-copenhagen
hey, ive said something nice about the 4 remaining teams at least!
yeah he also said afterwards (i think after the rrq game) that he regrets the geng map veto
this is true but also
(in no order) prx wolves fnatic g2
i dont think ive said this before but
flair
LFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
i know you are delusional but why on earth do you hate kaajak, whats there to not like about him
WOL - Insane underdog run, people had them dead last and now they've got a shot at the finals, plus Juicy is the goat
GEN - t3xture solidifies himself as one of the best duelists of all time, Munchkin continues to be a world class IGL with immense firepower. Foxy9 despite being tossed around and misused by teams in the past is finally showing his potential on the world stage
G2 - This core has been through it all together, they've made it so far in such a short amount of time since the addition of Jawgemo
PRX - Looked completely drained at the start of the year, they'd lost their identity and in this tournament they seem to have found it again, with a shot at a 3rd international grand final
FNC - Kaajak had big shoes to fill and he's certainly stepped up to the role, Boaster wants to cement himself as the greatest IGL of all time and adding another trophy would help his case immensely. crashies also has had a redemption after his last NRG roster, despite knowing that he could be replaced at any time (confirmed by cojo) he's still put up amazing performances for this team.
SEN - ... I failed
Guaranteed 3rd??
They are going all the way
WE'VE CONQUERED ALL OF CHINA π¨π³π¨π³π¨π³ WE'RE NEVER GONNA STOP πππ FROM TORONTO π¨π¦ TO PARIS π«π· WE'LL WIN THE FUCKING LOT πππ
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ
AND WHEN WE WIN IN PARIS π«π·π«π·π«π· WE'LL SAY IT WAS FORETOLD π£οΈπ£οΈπ£οΈTHE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD πππ THE BOYS IN BLACK AND GOLD πΊπΊπΊ
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ βββ
bruh... i thought we were finally free from this
they need to designate a food taster or smth, im pretty sure TH have a strict rule about having someone test out a restaurant before they let the team eat there
yeah i completely get that
its purely my own bias which why i want them to
regardless of how likely/unlikely it is
I believe it's just how their team is structured, and honestly I kind of think the pros outweigh the cons. I think it's better to have a manager who's completely in sync with what's going on internally as opposed to someone just sitting in an office thousands of miles away
Although he does have a habit of making blunt tweets which rubs people (even me sometimes) the wrong way, I think fundamentally he's a good manager
if xlg had their original roster id agree
but given that 1 player cant speak chinese and 1 cant speak english it seems cooked ngl
I think it's more likely that Chron goes to TL than nAts comes to FNC
+ We don't know if Boaster is retiring or if Leo will re-sign his contract
Your stupidity never fails to surprise me
she's probably landed in canada
well... i can think of worse things that have happened there
he came back and immediately started signing walls again
generational...
i mean honestly i think it keeps the game in a healthy state, so i agree with #4
i would rather util be underpowered than overpowered, because it puts more emphasis on gun fights
XLG could do the funniest thing ever
i watch a few cs2 s tier events and some worlds playoffs
its so ahh its not worth engaging with ngl
nAts and Chronicle were both good but prime cNed was really something else. They are both better than him all time, but I think if we're talking strictly in 2021 cNed takes the cake.
I think the reason why nAts and Chronicle get more praise than cNed for 2021 is because they're still top level players, so it's simpler for people who didn't watch back then (which is likely the majority nowadays) to associate the 'best player' with someone they're more familiar with. (I guess this is just a long way of saying 'recency bias')
damn you need a vape break (or whatever kids do these days to chill)
ok sorry for tryna have any sort of discussion π₯
https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/783ea938
Either I play it safe and pick TL to guarantee 5 max points
or I pick PRX and go for 15 points or nothing
fat ardiis = 1st at copenhagen, 4th at istanbul, 5-6th at sao paulo, 3rd at tokyo
less fat ardiis = no int'l quals
honestly respect
i think thats the best team you could bandwagon to atm
I feel like the only real 'failed superteam' this applies to is SEN 23 which also had a language barrier, the other two I feel (VIT 25 and NRG 24) you can explain mainly due to the IGL issue. It's quite common for players to switch roles for teams, Jamppi has played a respectable amount of smokes in the past too, so it wouldn't be completely alien
