yeah man im sad for kaajak, he's been so good for them
i think boaster has subtly been hinting at retiring (my own speculation) so it sucks to see him down like this too, but alas its a part of competition

wp from PRX they truly deserve it
glad to see something, davai, f0rsaken (and mindfreak) with a trophy now, it was a long time coming
damn double map ban feels even more significant seeing these stats side by side
In your opinion, where does G2 have to place at Champs to have considered this a 'successful' year?
This roster was made to win a trophy there's no doubt about it
for most teams 2nd, 4th and another high placement would be considered a great year, so I wonder where people stand on this
press conference after the g2 game
I think he's said it in other places too
oh yeah, my bad
i completely forgot about bro
yup, hoping for a banger
and to answer your question, i do think so
prx have had jinggg forsaken and davai since at least Masters Berlin (mindfreak too, but i guess hes not on the starting 5 anymore)
2022 was by far the peak of walkouts
Ever since franchising they've been kinda underwhelming (outside of the Tokyo and Seoul Grand Finals)
people gotta learn to enjoy both
but i have noticed one thing
its very often that cs players shit on valorant
and its fairly uncommon for valorant players to shit on cs or even care
so in that aspect it kinda comes off as cs fans being jealous, but who knows
either way i like both

thats kind of what i do
i pick a team from every region to support at the start of every year
but my #1 has always been fnatic
no need to be so bitter
cheer up
im rooting for fnatic (or wolves) but i hope its a banger regardless
will there be tier 2 teams again?
i found the tier 1 and tier 2 mix to be the coolest part of the event last year
(tier 2 teams based off of results too, not invites)
and i have no idea about gen 9
i think either him or t3xture
look, i fully well want fnatic to win
but we cant just be counting wolves out like that
What I would do is:
Masters 1 and 2 - 12 Teams GSL groups with a double elim bracket (with or without the #1 seed bye and opponent pick, I'm indifferent about that)
Champs - 16 team swiss groups with singe elim playoffs (and if you could make it work i'd like to see it be bo5's)
BBL is a solid contender in EMEA too
i think itll be
M1/2 - latam/br (leaning towards latam since they havent had a vct event yet)
M2/1 - emea
Champs - china (confirmed)
i doubt they do the same region twice a year
in 2023: emea missed out (china wasnt an official region yet)
in 2024: americas missed out
in 2025: china missed out
so in 2026 it makes sense if pacific misses out
yes, there is indeed only 1 team i hatewatch
i wouldnt say i like every team tho, id say im neutral
Let me check rq one sec
edit: yeah it's 'Americas'
https://youtu.be/GuB2NeKL7NI?si=YkAwKggsXuhGCVFN&t=268
2026 China... in 2027 back to ''the Americas''
Is it confirmed USA?
I thought it was confirmed Americas so LATAM/BR would still be on the table
they could pull a tokyo and host it an hour away and still call it masters london
i think the next americas masters has gotta be in latam
at least for me, i find that their slower playstyle builds suspense which makes the 'action' all that more exciting
I think there's a good chance next year or the year after for an EMEA masters, and I think London would be one of the leading candidates for an EMEA masters
