why the format of vct stge 1 is so wierd like they are rewarding mediocracy like in every region there is clear better group than the other in EMEA(NAVI,FUT AND TH) and PCIFIC(DRX, PRX) its OMEGA and in AMERICAS its ALPHA(KRU,NRG,C9 ) so how come there is no cross group matches if a group is already stacke like in pacific a 4-1 team will get eliminated and 2-4 or 3-3 will not how does that make any sense like HOW
HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW ????????????????????????????

Honestly it should've been 3 win minimum instead of 2, it would probably fix all the "bad teams going" "good teams not going" issue we have right now.

it would have made more sense to have the intra-group matches in stage 1, and the cross-group matches in stage 2 when playoff qualification is based on your total record

playoffs are intra-group (alpha #2 vs alpha #3 and so on) .... regardless the best 3 teams will go to shanghai.. so idk whats the problem here

Exactly, or why not just shuffle the groups 2*?
