I'm not a kid, I support NA since EG days when lurppis joined them after compLexity and 3D died along with united5, zEx, pandemic etc.
But after watching in Valorant when they are the number one, they(NA fans) just trash EU like they are nothing. I will always respect NA players from that era but never will in Valorant.

For me, the "overhyped teams" are the consequence of the fast growth experienced by the NA scene. Due to this fast growth, the big names of NA like Hiko were given a big credit when the scene was too young. However, the "true" big names aren't people who necessarily were good in the beginning. Devilwalk, for example, won the first major, but, after that, he never achieved very much. This lead to people creates too big of expectations from players that don't have the skills to match this. If you think about the ten teams that qualified to Masters 2, only TL and SEN had their core roster together since last year.
first of all it's EG who loses most of their games, second of all they just changed roster, third of all they are against supposedly the best team in the world but still manage to clock in rounds against TSM, they shouldn't get 10 rounds against the best team in the world it just doesn't make sense. Keep crying more SEN supporter. Also I love how Indians are dissing me on this site because I am Malaysian, never said anything about India at all yet I'm being attack for having an opinion which you disagree with. even if sentinels fail it doesn't matter they have already qualified fr champions. However TSM was always been a Tier 2 team, they made one change and coach change when their problem was so obviously their IGL ing abilities. Overhyping is essentially is just because of the org's fans or the team's fans u can't really change that. Every team everywhere will have its own fanbase and it will always overwhelmingly hype to see the fanbase cheer for the team. Fanbase > ppl who see all games.
I disagree. TSM still dont know what the fuck they're doing with their players. Its not really them, its more like the org still hasnt evolved with the game. You grow or you die. That being said, its really unfair to go like NA is going to fall. Also, XSET Zekken pointed out some good things. Just because some Tier 1 teams fell to Tier 2 teams doesnt mean we should ignore the fact that these Tier 2 teams put in the effort to take down these giants.

what? of course sen will lose at some point. i dont think they will win 100% of their games for 5-10 years if the game lasts that long. but what kind of logic is this? they are beating every team and winning everything at the moment . how can a team like that just cause u dont like me make em overrated? they can be anything but overated. Got to love the people who wait on the sidelines for a team to fail, they say they saw it coming when it eventually happens.
SEN has delivered, they won Masters 1, they won Masters 2 without dropping a map. Every team eventually falls off. Saying that a team is gonna drop off in a brand new game whose meta changes constantly isn’t some incredible wisdom. It happened to G2, it happened to TSM, and yeah eventually will happen to SEN. It’s if SEN can bounce back like G2 looks to be doing that means anything (though with a large roster difference).
It sounds like you really took it personal when EU lost in masters 2. The good news, is yes EU has the talent to win and will eventually. So just wait and you will have your time. Until then EU Flash Kekw (It’s a joke)
