chinese fans are chill with boostio now. They figured out he is toxic asf to every team by calling them weak (boostio said he will beat G2 everytime) and same with demon1 since he got hubmled a bit

hope this situation also turns out like this where both sides figure out and no more miscommunications/mistranslations anymore

posted 4 days ago

Yeah you can't really say Chinese ppl are brainwashed when us westerners are also to some extent. We're both exposed to insane amounts of propaganda and never seen the real situation on the other side.

posted 4 days ago

I mean Chinese Fans does this treatment to their own players. Berlin and KangKang were bullied and shit talked online. It's not just foreigners but their own people as well. Chinese fans just toxic asf

posted 4 days ago

it's gon be at seoul for champs. it's gon be 100x better then what they expierence at previous torunaments

posted 6 days ago

yeah i covered that in my explanation "then they typed f GENG like 2-3 times".

posted 6 days ago

ya he seemed chill or didnt care much. I don't know korea so idk what chat was saying or he was saying. Hopefully it doesn't affect him too much tho. Judging from what you said about the chat, EDG FPX and China gon get so much hate when they play in champs seoul lmfaoo

posted 6 days ago

Also One more thing to Add on. Like @NSDD said this is very normal in chinese servers. KangKang was getting shitted on every steam by fans and getting shit talked about nearly every ranked game he played. For most of his streams he always stays quiet and he nearly cried one time. Like haters literally come into his stream and try to rage bait him like go get a life lmfaoo. I think it's just chinese servers in general are just toxic.

posted 6 days ago

yeah, pretty sure they do cus the demon1 and boostio clips of them calling out china went viral. I don't have an bilibili or weibo acc tho so I can't see the full comments but the top comments were negative and calling them out for bullying a new region which the game just released

posted 6 days ago

i'll watch that vod later (please remind me when its posted) and translate it too. I don't know why China loves Chovy and Geng in League of Legends but hates GENG in Valorant. I think it might be them shooting their bodies and bm'ing EDG when they played them back in Madrid? I remember in Chinese streams and social media when EDG played them they were like "why are GENG so disrespectful and shooting EDG's bodies and doing the excessive taunting on stage like every round" and the comment section was like pretty negative towards GENG so that might be why and combine that they just beat FPX and both teams also shot each others bodies mid rounds. Also China loves PRX and Aspas so GENG beating and playing them might also be a factor.

i also watched this FULL vod that @ethi posted earlier in the thread (link is here https://m.chzzk.naver.com/video/1656539) with the timestamp 2:06:20. From watching the entire bind map the chinese lobby seemed like salty FPX fans? They were saying something along the lines of "yeah they took 3rd map off us" or "they won second half against half against us" implying that they were prob FPX fans and then they typed in chat f GENG like 2-3 times. The chinese letters you see from the chat roughly translates something like "yoo i just killed texture or a GENG player, does that mean I can play in masters torunament now?" something like that. The Clove at the end said NT to texture and his korean friend when they almost won a clutch. I also only saw him getting trolled or flashed once which was the timestamp ethi posted. Every other round the lobby played the game normally and didn't troll. I did feel bad for texture but out of the 4 maps i watched from his chinese stream this was the only stream where they was a bit of negativity and it seemed like it was full of FPX fanboys. I don't think it's that serious because it's not to the point where the entire lobby was saying f u and literally attacking him/trolling him everytime and i'm positive that they were just salty FPX fans from their vc comms earlier in the rounds. Every other map that I watched texture play the lobby was chill. They were just chatting about foreigners accent and curious about which team he was from. Even after figuring out he was korean they just said nt to him and it was just neutral

posted 6 days ago

@qwertyK bro i watched his latest stream on bind and split and the chinese lobby was not shit talking him lmfao. The stuff they were saying on VC was trying to figure out if he was from which team. They weren't shit talking him but rather arguing if he was an north american or korean. Once they kinda figured out that he was korean they didnt even shit talk him lmfao, they just started talking about how they met aspas in shanghai and watched him play last night. And he didnt get team flashed once lmfao. The only time he got flashed was when he literally asked for a flash up ramps but someone was holding a judge up ramps and didnt expect him to be so close. The lobby all said NT and tried a bit of english at the end to communicate with him. I don't know what texture and chat was thinking and saying in korean but translating the chinese that the lobby said, they were not really bullying him or "shit talked" him after they found out he was probably korean. I don't know if you know chinese but perhaps lets not jump to conclusions

ty im checking the stream out. didn't even know a streaming site like this existed

posted 6 days ago

Bro where's the stream link? Like can we see some proof or the bullying? I wanted to find and look for it but can't find it. Like theres a possibility that this might be happening but theres no proof or stream link you posted.

The FPX vs Fut crowd was hella loud and packed. G2 vs T1 the crowd mic wasnt working properly pretty sure but from clips of the crowd it seemed to be pretty decently filled.

posted 1 week ago

we must continue underestimating the Chinese teams so that they get underdogs buff

posted 1 week ago

that round where clove was pushed up deep in screens is why. Life can attempt to kill one deep and suprise the enemy. If he doesn't kill anyone, he just clove ults and gets an 2nd chance to frag out

posted 1 week ago

fax bruh like FUT had no response to the triple smokes on attack rounds cus too many one ways and they couldnt get info

posted 1 week ago

lol FPX > EDG form rn in an BO3 series... They improved their fundamentals and discipline and can take down EDG easily. They lack stamina so thats why they always losing to EDG in BO5. FPX atleast top 8 if EDG is at #6

posted 2 weeks ago

i think fpx somehow sneaks in and wins vs FUT round 1. FPX > EDG rn in BO3. They have btter fundamentals and discipline. Other than that cook

posted 2 weeks ago

FPX > EDG rn in an BO3 SERIES... FPX looks like they have better fundamentals and more disciplined.. I think they sneak into playoffs

posted 2 weeks ago

i mean i think Trace will do better in international events becus they have better fundamentals and work more as an team. DRG is fueled by momentum and looks more sloppy. but i mean trace did lose to drg 2x in a row so its deserved ig

posted 3 weeks ago

ppl said the same thing about pacific now look at where they are... Give china some time and they'll be at the top

posted 3 weeks ago

i mean the third place spot is up between DRG and Trace. DRG beat trace 2x so thats kinda on trace themselves. BUT, i do believe Trace would've matched against international teams better than DRG. Trace has better teamwork and fundamentals. DRG needs to be on a roll or else they stink

posted 3 weeks ago

if they let raid boss vookashu get in rhythm its over

posted 3 weeks ago

well who else is better? they beat trace so its on trace themselves for losing. Beat them 2x actually

posted 3 weeks ago

thats literally what im saying. If texture didnt 3k them on split during 2nd half im being deadass they wouldve won vs geng and be in playoffs rn

posted 2 months ago

this has to be it right? getting humiliated by loud has to prompt them to change something. One thing I'll have to say tho is that they did improve. They are better disciplined and play more together. The game you watched vs Loud was an outlier. Go watch PRX or GenG (Untill 2nd map pistol).

posted 2 months ago

theres something called money and having the biggest gaming industry in the world. Give them after Masters Shanghai. I think Masters Shanghai is when the chinese teams start to get better because they got international teams starting to scrim the other chinese teams besides EDG and FPX. By Champs or 2025 I think thats when they are up to par besides EDG.

posted 2 months ago

the amount of 5v4, 5v3's i've seen them lose is insane.

posted 2 months ago

EDG's like the only chinese team you can't count out. You also gotta take in the factor that EDG got a days rest and preparation while LOUD has basically 0 time and they're the first ones playing

posted 2 months ago

fr, the people who drew def knew which teams were in which box

posted 2 months ago

im not talking about tokyo. im talking about champs. They were in form and looked 10x better in champs than tokyo lol. They beat fnatic and were a map away from taking down EG. They finished 3rd overall. EDG was 1 round away to take LOUD in form to an MAP 3 OVERTIME. EDG vs Loud will be a good and close game if they play each other lol.

posted 2 months ago

at champs they took LOUD to map 3, and were one map away from taking them to OT. Loud beat fnatic with ease and were placed #3. u underestimating EDG lol

posted 2 months ago

meh. At tokyo EDG shocked everyone by beating Loud. At Champs, they were 1 round away from taking LOUD to OT at their Haven and Loud got a bit worse with aspas -> quick. And if imma be honest they lwky shouldve won vs EG. If they didnt lose that eco where all of them got detained I think that games goes to OT. But everybody counting out china already. I think every game China plays is going to be a hella close series. If coaches and players look at their vods and say "this is sloppy their ass" they might get upsetted.

posted 2 months ago

i mean you just listed the top 3 teams that finished champs last year LMFAO. They all took them to map 3 and were a round or two away from winning. "decent" is an huge understatement. just got a feeling that it'll be a close game

posted 2 months ago

I feel like China will do better internationally. Their silliness and aim heavy mechanics will just catch emea, na, and brazil off guard. They did well in Tokyo and did badly in Champs because every team was anti-stratting them and they were still learning how to combat that lmfao. With new strats and a fresh 2 months to reset I think. they'll be find in Madrid. Only teams im worried about are the APAC teams because they're their scrim partenrs and PRX have similar playstyles where they run some crazy ass comp and aim duel.

posted 2 months ago

yeah what I think too. the sillyness and aim heavy stuff that goes on in china will keep emea, brazil, and na confused and can't predict. It'll take alteast a map or two or maybe even a series to adjust to them. However, if they play APAC tho i think it might be tough. china and apac are scrim partners and have similar playstyles to prx where they run some crazy shit and aim duel lol

posted 2 months ago

if cs tried to include other regions and develope cs in pacific/china i promise you CS Majors would easily break twitch and streaming records to the point where no one can compete vs them lol while still maintaining the competetiveness because pacific teams might be considered "dark horse teams" and we'll see some upsets that'll break the internet

posted 3 months ago

same. When I watched TEC vs JDG, I wanted both Rb and Stew to win lol
