GenG has not looked good in regular season. If you're a potential Shanghai winner you should be able to dominate most other teams in your region, and GenG just doesn't. PRX has all 5 players in the top 20 rated in PAC league, and holds a good number of top spots too. PRX also has an experience advantage (although GenG did make it to Madrid GF so it's not a big difference).

As I see it I think it's only Fnatic and PRX that have the stage experience and right now I trust PRX more. I think this is the first tournament where PRX are strong favorites to win. Gen.G was decent at Madrid (admittedly, level of competition was not great) but they seem to have stagnated and that's not good enough. 100T definitely has the firepower to win but I don't know if they'll be able to handle the pressure of playing on a stage. My guess is PRX, because honestly I don't see a good argument that it could be anyone else.

Hate to tell you this, but you are the perfect specimen of a NA fan with delusions.

T1 is 3rd best APAC team at best, they lost to PRX 0-2 in kickoff and GenG has beaten that PRX twice. Having 1 NA player and one player that used to play for an NA team does not make your team better than the other Pacific teams. Debatable if Americas is the strongest region, but it's certainly not far and away the best. I suggest listening to facts and reason over NA pride.

Was beating PRX twice a fluke?
Was beating Loud a fluke?
Was beating EDG a fluke?
Gen.G haven't lost a match since kickoff playoffs and at some point you have to accept that they might actually be good at the game.
