keeping ur form,in league its a problem if a pro on top of scrims doesn't play any solo que u would probably get ur house swatted in china and korea ,maybe it also tells something about ur motivation if u have no interest to even touch the game outside scrims

idk ppl can get burnt out pretty quickly if they do too much of anything, I'd rather my players play the game less if it means they are more focused during practice or on game days vs having them be tired and unmotivated to play the game because they spent 5 junk hours playing solo queue every day. Still a bit concerning tho that they really rarely play ranked there's probably a balance to be found there between playing absolutely no ranked and only playing during specific practice times and playing too much where they get burnt out and unmotivated to play they game

zekken, aspas, oxy etc etc have so many more hours on raze in rank and outside practice than demon1 and it showed hard

practicing your mechanics is important. rank does matter to a certain extent.

That's their problem. They think every team is like in scrims where people run it down and aggro peak you. That's why they are getting diffed against good teams. Honestly this is chet's fault for not realizing this

in scrims people run it the fuck down bc who gaf about scrims
nrg play slow as fuck and they're good at punishing aggression

in officials no one is peeking nrg bc they know how nrg plays
nrg lose to time or play way too passively on defense

skip to 43:30 its just 15min talk for NRG, some good takes. I also agree with the statistics and patterns of how Top teams always usually have players grinding Ranked, it made sense for Zekken Rank 1 popping off at Masters, and other players as well etc.

ranked is def important for those saying it's not. in LoL, Korean teams dominate because after scrims they instantly start grinding ranked solo queue. it's not a 1 to 1 comparison because LoL requires a lot more game sense and a wider agent pool but still.

Ranked is not imperative, but you can definitely learn from Radiant players, some of them are very creative. Plus, you can test out things against them and see how they react to it, giving you an idea of what to tweak.

It's very egotistical for them to think ranked is a waste of time...
