Chill man, one of the rules of my WC is to not take it too seriously😭

Also Korea was one of those in which I'm familiarized with the coaches, so I just put Autumn since I know him more as a coach

Big statement, EMEA T2 is really different from T1 EMEA. Look at Apeks, they were farming T2, but they weren't that great in T1 (As Liquid and with upgrades such as Jamppi and nAts)

All of them are European... Mmmh...

Fair enough I guess. USA has an amount of pros so big that you could do at least 3 rosters that could win a Valorant World Cup. I think that most of EG's success comes from Potter and (mainly) Demon1's monster performance. Remember that EG was a mid-table team before Demon1, but I'm not putting Boostio's IGLing in doubt. I think that any roster that has Sentinels, NRG or imported players can make it big in this kind of event

Que hace kamyk haciendole una mortadela a MiniBoo en medio del stage?

posted 1 month ago

This is pretty much what Karmine Corp did, except these are more experienced players that have proven what they're capable of. The biggest doubt here would be maybe kiles, but I'm pretty sure that pa1ze, dimax, and kamyk are a great trio to work around to make a Top 3 EMEA team

Me, he will be the goat of finnish duelist by 2026 fosho!

posted 1 month ago

Bonkar would've been a top tier IGL if it wasn't for his terrible firepower. And the best way I can describe pa1ze, he's the next runneR

Who IGLs?

posted 1 month ago

I get the Demon1 change, but I think that Zellsis is a non-negotiable asset. SEN wouldn't have won Kick-Off and Madrid without him (and johnqt)

posted 1 month ago

Currently, sure. This list was made when GE was getting absolutely shit on. LF is an ok player, but he lacks a lot of consistency, sometimes he plays like the best player in the team, and other times he plays worse than Polvi

posted 1 month ago

I mean... I guess? Click is probably the best German playing in EMEA, but Guard Tex in that duelist was really something else. If Tex sticks to that Sentinel role, then yeah, Click would definitely take over in that duelist role

PRX HC coaching in an EMEA team? Seems like Happy is a much better fit for a team with M8, KC and TL players to me

posted 1 month ago

Marved can't IGL and overlaps with TenZ in the controller role. And Demon1>Zekken could happen, they are close players in skill, but Zekken is more flexible

posted 1 month ago

Who? Genuine question

posted 1 month ago

The easier answer for Canada would have been Marved in smokes, TenZ in flex and FNS in sentinel as the IGL, but I honestly think TenZ is not that good as flex. You have 3 players with similar roles and I'm not really sure if they could mix that well. I think going for a more firepower based team is the best approach. Marved doesn't perform well when not playing with controller, the same goes for TenZ, and FNS generally doesn't perform individually either. Since FNS has only played with Chet and Crashies as the second caller, I don't really know how he would develop on this team, he has always said that he doesn't like playing on teams that he has no control over. FNS>Zander in IGLing, but Zander fits better on this team. Mistic was in the original draft, but mostly overlapped with Boaster in that controller role. Boostio is a really great IGL, but Ethan is showing off the work NRG is doing, Boostio could have easily been on the team.

Yeah, it was really tricky, especially for Czechia, Poland and Hong Kong. I thought the same but I wanted to keep it as national as possible

posted 1 month ago

Also I had this unwritten rule of including every country that had one representative in VCT historically if possible (Unfortunately, countries like Ukraine, Morocco, Norway, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and others, didn't have a large enough number of pro players to make a reliable roster, so that's partly why I deciced to make region-based teams like the Baltics or Balkans)

posted 1 month ago

Trying to make as most countries as possible, It was originally 32 but I didn't want to let Team Balkans and Baltics out

Thanks! I spent most of my time in the graphics lol

I was thinking about it, but I think that Dep is overall better + has more experience winning

Hi, so I've been working on this little thread covering an hypothetical VAL World Cup, covering most countries represented in VCT

Being on fraudwatch doesn't make you a fraud

Added Fnatic already

Just because nAts it's on FRAUDWATCH doesn't mean he's a fraud

They used to do this kind of bait in NA all the time, wouldn't really read too much into this

posted 1 month ago

No, but just listen to his comms, see his attitude, and the overall presence he has on a team. He mainly left Liquid because he had leadership disagreements with Redgar, he (rightfully so) wanted to build his own team, so that's why he choose Vitality, he's the star and soul of that team

posted 1 month ago

Sayf is too much of a leader to be in the same team as Boaster

posted 1 month ago

DFM can prepare all they want but giving them their first win ever is embarrassing to say the least

posted 1 month ago

nAts HAS to be the super-star of that Liquid team, he's not playing really good nor dominating good players. Liquid is only good rn because of Keiko (solo carrying some maps) and Jamppi (vibe merchant and really pops off out of nowhere sometimes)

posted 1 month ago

He has to get absolutely get shit on by BLEED and DFM to get considered an official fraud. I think he can still play decently

posted 1 month ago

nAts is not putting nAts numbers, he only played good against KOI, and well... KOI is KOI is all I'm going to say

posted 1 month ago

I expected Benkai to make the difference in GE honestly, not having him as an IGL is a crime imo. And I expected polvi to be really good but I didn't see him as a star duelist to start with
