you asked why they kept sacy over pancada, the answer is simple. pancada's english was not good enough to play on an english speaking team. while he is very talented, it doesn't make up for the fact that his comms just weren't what the team needed. you mention roles, do you remember what happened when they took pancada off of smokes? maybe he could play initiator, but what's the point in signing a world champ mvp smokes player just to have him play a role he's subpar at would be a complete waste. sacy on the other hand gets to keep his role while also comming well.

i started playing/watching valorant 1 week before lock in, and most of the youtube content i was getting from sen. i watched a lot of their videos and liked them but then got a random video of nrg in my recommended and watched it. i just liked the personalities of the players and decided to support them. i knew nothing about optic, or ardiis coming from fpx, or anything like that. when they were down 9-3 against koi at lock in i didnt think twice about it bc i had no idea how good they were supposed to be. for all i knew koi was some superteam
