Definitely lower than average competition. Heretics got a sub, a bunch of last splits teams got boomed because of a brutal schedule, and some teams qualified over better better teams. Calling it a mickey mouse is dramatic, tho. There are enough good teams that the results are definitely still meaningful.

The thing about these players is that they don't need to cultivate an audience in the same way and can coast off their skill at the game, so we can easily get weirdos who don't care at all about PR and are openly toxic.
