Not a fluke, they just didn't adapt fast enough to the meta changes for stage 2 which led them losing the first two games. Then they lost very closely (I mean literally a 2 round difference) to NRG and XSET who were in the lower finals of NA (XSET won the whole thing). So far in LCQ they've looked a lot more figured out, but have had some issues with overpeaking and throwing some rounds. If they polish that out, they are definitely a contender to win.

I love ur baits

Yeah I’d say the only other soon to be free agent igl worth looking at is Zander but he doesn’t work roles wise.

Bro was dragging M3C all of stage 2 and you call that “falling off”

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. Bdog would be an insane pickup for them afterwards. I think every other part of the roster is top tier tbh. Derrek, Asuna, and Bang are all contenders for top players in their roles in NA, and there's not really someone else who could replace Stellar rn. Unless you want Mocking...

You might just have a nerve problem (not nerves, like physical nerve) in which case there's kind of nothing you can do. But enjoy playing games anyway!!

No he’s right this is an awful post

I think they’ll work out the kinds (and maybe stop overpeaking). Being able to win on icebox after throwing a 12-9 lead has restored my faith in their mental. They would’ve been a dead team if they lost that but they didn’t lose.

Trent on smokes is one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard

posted about 2 years ago

I’m saying it here first. They’ll probably lose once but not twice. If they clean up some of their throws (like on breeze and the end of icebox), they can definitely be a top tier team. Against SEN they didn’t even have Saya playing as well as we know he can.

Sorry but guard is winning no cap

posted about 2 years ago

Shao should be first imo. He won 21 clutches at masters and was a key reason FPX made it out of groups. Other than that good list.

ONE guard flair (maybe 2)

They’re my fav worldwide tbh

I think they’re more likely to beat SR, but that’s still unlikely

Ty appreciate it

What abt me

Guard tbh threw a lot, but SEN did look wayyy better than they have all year. Still think they're going out in 2 but that's just because LCQ is stacked.

posted about 2 years ago

This is really cool!! I'd definitely want to see more of them if you have the time :)

posted about 2 years ago

He's literally the reason they won the first map. Got 4 3ks and one critical clutch.

posted about 2 years ago

SEN literally won every clutch (7 of them), and both pistols in the last map. If anything, Guard deserved to win even cleaner but they threw a bit.

Ah yes when someone feeds, another player kills them. Thank you for that hard hitting analysis!

Thank you! Also I hate TSM, and TGRD is the only team to win a region less than a month after being formed (very average ik).

posted about 2 years ago

TRENT IS AVERAGE???? Bro WHAT. He was +22 over two maps.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah they were trying stuff out. Come back after they win LCQ ok?

posted about 2 years ago

Guard just threw a lot tbh, they didn't win a single clutch.

posted about 2 years ago

NOT MINE THO YALL STAY SAFE

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh if you consider that TGRD lost EVERY clutch (7 rounds), and threw a few more, they definitely have a lot of room to grow as a team, and still have a good chance of winning.

posted about 2 years ago

Trent for sure he's better than he was in stage 1 tbh

posted about 2 years ago

It was an insane match, ggs to everyone

posted about 2 years ago

Absolute cap they played really well and Shroud had two pivotal 4ks. Don't go off stats you moron.

It's literally what happened my guy

I'm not gonna forget that 126 ppl downvoted the guy who said Guard 2-1 LMFAO

posted about 2 years ago

THAT WAS SO IMPORTANT

posted about 2 years ago

Bren + Sideshow are even better

posted about 2 years ago

He's making up for those throws on map 1.

gigachad take too

posted about 2 years ago

They lost ONE MAP in OT bc they threw two rounds. That is not a damnation of the entire team lmaooo

posted about 2 years ago

Both are playing good but Guard would've won if they hadn't thrown 2 rounds. Trent is def back
