I don't know how to explain it properly:

But the gist of the project is that the user submits a username that gets sent to a django backend, which does a little bit of validation and then I send that username to redis which puts it into a celery task queue, which starts a scrapy subprocess, which is 100x faster than requests if you look into it. Once the data's collected scrappy sends that data to the Django backend via a post request which gets processed and saved into a SQLite database. meanwhile I just poll the backend from the frontend with ajax to check if it's done, and if it is done getting the data I just refresh the page and then the data appears there
