The orgs in India rn pay around 15-18k USD, I think some orgs might be able to pay 50k when stretched

posted about 2 years ago

Oh ofc, I thought you were saying theres no way they will go for an Indian roster. I agree with you, im pretty sure they will start with 5 Indians players, maybe they make changes after some time but even thats unlikely

posted about 2 years ago

That's what Im saying, they don't try to invest in esports where they aren't going to make an profit. Valorant franchising is a very safe bet for every org because you have a guaranteed spot in an international league with great viewership plus you even receive incentives from riot. Their primary sponsors are amd and gigabyte who sponsor the whole org, they have numerous smaller sponsors too like mamaearth, winzo, loco, one plus for many of their creators etc. Fairly sure none of the others orgs in india are even close

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah. I think at start they will go for 5 SA players but they will make changes when the results inevitably don't go their way. Either way just want a South Asian rep in there

posted about 2 years ago

SA players are very marketable plus no they way theyre going to want to receive that much hate if they opt for SEA players. You'll see next year bruv

posted about 2 years ago

Good sponsors and finanical stability (only org in india which is profitable rn)+ loads of fans

posted about 2 years ago

Your point? I care so I made a post, others who care commented asking about it. You on the other hand seem obsessed with south asia/india lol because you insert yourself on any thread about it just to troll/hate, get a life mate

posted about 2 years ago

They will 100 percent use sa players, maybe import 2 but im 100 percent sure they will have atleast 3 players.

Why do you waste your time commenting if you dont care. Stfu and mind your own business lol

posted about 2 years ago

50k is for americas league not asia. Do you realise how much money 50k is in any asian currency? No org will be able to afford it

Clickbait title, dont read too much into it lol. Also I actually meant t5 in terms of international competition

Read the threads. Some context - OG got invited to a TEC tournament while RNT(The org for which knightrider plays and hbk is the coach for that team) didn't. Today OG lost to True rippers in a bo3, an Indian team which has been mediocre/average at best. Hilarious for those who are familiar with the indian scene

I started following the esports scene when I was bronze, now im Diamond. I dont think its relevant tbh

Honestly it could be one of the biggest esports event yet because it would be held in instabul with a full crowd. Imagine teams like Zeta, Sentinels, Kru, LOUD playing each other in front of a crowd. Would probably break 1.5M and have chance for 2Mil

Man youre literally in paradise on Earth, you'll love it there I swear. Also there arent specific great places to visit in srinagar except dal lake and shalimar bagh imo but general vibe is soo beautiful

Nope. Mobile gaming in India is way too popular among the lower strata of society. Go to a govt school and everyone will know about pubgm but nobody would have heard about Valorant

Recently was travelling in a train along with two of my friends, we met another group of people our age on the train. We got to talking and I was surprised to know nearly all of them played or atleast knew about Valorant. Plus most of guys in my class know about it as well even if they arent aware about the esports side. I think its easily the most known pc game in india, what about your country?

posted about 2 years ago

Not true, despite how much vlr wants to deny it Tenz is the biggest face in valorant and has loads of fans. You could just see it in last masters too, tenz peak was higher than tarik and his average viewership was higher too. Even when Tenz didnt stream one day, tarik could only reach 110k viewership while tenz had 113k peek with tarik streaming too

No tenz? Less viewers from NA this time ig

Team Secret should probably be two since they qualified for Masters Berlin and no team replaced them even though they couldnt go, or just add that to the notes

Im in the same boat honestly. But these are some of the finest works in Fantasy so I had to read them. Although rothfuss is a lazy bum atleast he isnt that old so theres a chance that the third book will come. On the other hand GRRM might write the next one but hes defo not releasing the last book and inevitably someone else like sanderson will pick up to finish the series and I dont like his style

Malazan is fairly confusing there are a lot of characters, subplots etc so dont skim much but I dont think you'll face problems if youve read books like asoaif lotr before

posted about 2 years ago

Dont ever get into them, too long of a slog imo and wot gets terrible midway. if youre determined, malazan is really good for a series which is that long

posted about 2 years ago

Read kingkiller chronicles from rothfuss if you havent yet

posted about 2 years ago

You're the dickhead here lol. Your post makes no sense, you should said something like what happened to the teams that used to be good in emea. Instead your posts makes it seem like emea as a whole sucks now and every top team has gotten terrible when its only a few like G2 Acend etc. This is not relative to emea anyway lol, 100t which was good in 2021 isnt on the same level. Neither is Sentinels. Or Cloud9
