Its not counterintuitive, the bottom line is be good enough to be able to clutch at the rank you are, once you reach diamond or above again, reach out to join teams in discord, otherwise you should be able to play a normal game a clutch every round for the team
usually after clutching 3-4 rounds your team of randoms automatically rally up to support you in the best way possible
and there is nothing you can do about the disconnected player at the moment besides 4v5, and having the ability to make clutch plays lowers the load on your team
MEN's mental health is a real issue right now
yeah but what is your rank, the thing is you have to get on the solo clutch mindset if you want to rank up which is ideal till you reach a certain rank, hence my reason for asking a rank, if you are a relatively higher rank I will suggest you to apply for a team and grind with teammates. I am assuming you are lower rank because you said you play the game quite inconsistently and not assuming your skill level, saying that I also suggest you dedicate a 10-15 minute session of skill training before your games and go into the games with a clutch mindset, setting up plays where you are comfortable to isolate duels and turn a 1 versus 4 into four separate 1 versus 1s. This does not necessarily mean that you need to play a duelist but rather use an agent which will help you achieve this objective. Regarding random teammates I would suggest turning off the members who are impeding your ability to focus and only communicating with the ones that are providing you information that is crucial to the game at hand.
