if sentinels and nrg were to play a match against each other on the map bind, where sen played defense with the same form they did against evil geniuses, and nrg played attack with the same form they did against leviatan, it may be the worst half of valorant ever played

Instead of playing a more loose demon1 go kill structure like eg did last year they're trying the old nrg/optc approach of structure chess whatever which only works with a really good igl and is hard to call. In the lev bind game the calling was HORRENDOUS with extremely predictable and extremely slow execs and demon1 had very little opportunity to go kill as he was sent in to die every round. I think they should play more loose personally and just rewrite the early round strats, but also the confidence looked bad so they need to work on that too.

Everyone seeing that Sen Geng kc whoever doing badly in split 1 and assuming Madrid was a fluke is crazy like those teams showed so much more, had less prep time for stage 1 (especially playoffs teams), all while other teams got to work on themselves and watch so much tape on the Madrid teams. If there was a 2 month gap between Madrid and split 1 then sure these teams underperforming would matter but cmon.
